Sabretooth73
for me personally, its usually Bud light, Miller light, coors light, i do like the dark heineken, and of course Labbat Blue Light and after a win I enjoy a dutch masters honey tipped cigar (started during last yrs playoffs) so i kind of am superstitious about it now

wjag
Anything :worthy: German, :worthy: Dutch or :worthy: Czech.. Canadian in a pinch  . NEVER American beers, we just don't know what real beer is suppose to taste like in this country. :wallbash:
carpandean
Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse Dunkel or pretty much any German Dunkel Weizen. I also like a good porter or stout. In a pinch, I'll take a Samual Adams Black Lager (one of the few American beers that I like). If I want to feel like I'm 20 again, I go for a Blue. Goodfella25
Definitely Saranac Black Forest or Carmel Porter...gotta have a solid beer no watered down Labatt or Molson.
inkman
I like to spend my hockey time with buddy Sam. Sam Adams that is.
LoveAndWarrener
Brooklyn Brown Ale's a pretty hearty hockey beverage. Come playoffs when you're looking for something a little more refreshing, their Pennant Ale is pretty terrific as well.
Claude_Verret
Get yourself a case of Dogfishhead. There are plenty of great American Beers, but very few great mega-mass produced ones. Very true. But there are so many great Dogfish Head beers. My personal favorite is the 90 minute IPA that clocks in at about 9% abv. As for what I drink during Sabres games, I brew my own beer and pour it out of my kegerator. Right now I have an oatmeal stout on tap that I enjoyed a few pints of during last nights win. All Along The Watchtower
Blue Light...DC area fans, anyone know where you can get it down here? I have to have it 'imported' from WNY.
sabregoats
Definitely Saranac Black Forest or Carmel Porter...gotta have a solid beer no watered down Labatt or Molson. the carmel porter is probably my favorite beer
HockeyFan T
Coors Light is normally my beer of choice. This year I bought a case of Miller High Life and have been "enjoying" a "tasty" blast from my high school past during Sabres games just so I can toast to Miller Time! wjag
It's funny to me to see the "upscaling" of Labatts Blue. When I was an underage teenager, we could buy a case of the cheapo Canadian beer for 4.99 (and no bottle deposit). That beer was Labatts or 50. We used to think that Brador was "the" beer when you were having more than one and wanted to get lit.
thesportsbuff
Busch, Busch Lite, Keystone... and the occasional Bud Lite when we have extra money! Hey, I'm a teenager. I learn to deal with them.
cdexchange
Coors Light is normal my beer of choice. sorry dude, nothing personal, I just can't stand that stuff. Sam Adams Light or Molson Canadian for me
