Fix the coaching and this team is borderline a playoff squad.

Make a couple other upgrades and it is a legit playoff team.

But they need to make an upgrade at GM before either of those other moves get made.

All you need to know about some of these guys is how sensitive and pissy they get when questions come up about their heart and performance and whatever. Some of the choice sound bites. We’ve gotten over the last couple years. Any professional athlete knows criticism over effort is fair game—especially with this loser franchise

A professional athlete with heart would fully understand the criticism and they would prove those people wrong

I completely disagree. I don’t think they’re playing with enough effort.

They’re losing every puck battle tonight. I don’t know how you can say they’re playing with adequate effort.

Cooley made Timmins look like the 6D he is -- which is fine. But Byram stopped skating.

 

I will say, from watching the two Utah games, I like how their team plays. They skate and they are constantly right there -- since waking up by going down 2-0.
