Don't sleep on the Quinner.

He's had a few decent playsย

He also had that absolute brain diarrhea of a blue line flub on the PP which led to the breakaway that you just knew UPL WASN'T going to saveย

I'm not sure if its coaching/system, or just will by the players...but it seems that when the PP had success, it was doan (or someone else) who just planted themself in front of the net. Didn't 'rotate' through, didn't skate through the crease..but they planted themself there the whole time.

On the PP, that seems to have gone away..and so have the goals.

Iโ€™m kidding 13, of course they are better when the better players are in the line up. But letโ€™s be honest with ourselves, outside of improved netminding, defense, nothing has really changed. They arenโ€™t aggressive enough on the puck, they show spurts but no consistency, the youth excuse is done. They have veteran players on this roster now, that have come of age. Thereโ€™s no leadership.

I honestly disagree.ย  This team isn't a complete repeat of past teams.ย  The injuries are real and the play has been good when important players are in the lineup.

Who said anything about youth?ย  I believe there is leadership but it's not enough to overcome.ย  Coaching has to step up and doesn't.

IMO, one of Lindy's great strengths was his ability to coach different types of teams.ย  He's lost that.
