French Collection Posted November 7 Report Posted November 7 Pretty sad when the 4th line has to lead the offensive comeback but they had a good shift. Quote

I think in all sports, if you can't make a firm decision after watching the replay for 30 seconds, or if there is any doubt at all, the on the ice/on the field call stands. I agree in general; just referring to the specific case o whether or not it was kicked in. 1 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted November 7 Report Posted November 7 If they go down 3-0, Dunne should do something to start a fight for real. Get the team ready for the road trip that could make or break their season. 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted November 7 Report Posted November 7 I kinda thought it was Quinn who skated into Thompson. Quinn was moving, Thompson was not. Thompson was already near the boards and he can't accelerate from 0 to full speed in 0.5 seconds to get out of the way. I'd have to see the replay again, but it looked like Thompson had no-where to go so he just stayed on the boards and Quinn went into him. Maybe the bigger question is, why are both wingers on the same side of the ice when in possession of the puck? Quote
thewookie1 Posted November 7 Report Posted November 7 We have them pinned in their zone but every pass seems to go to the back hand or bounce or get deflected. Itβs maddeningΒ Quote

eman Posted November 7 Report Posted November 7 This team will be out of a playoff spot by US Thanksgiving and we all know what that means: NO PLAYOFFS for the 25-26 season! 1 2 Quote
mjd1001 Posted November 7 Report Posted November 7 So.... Might be shuthout by the worst defensive team in the NHL. By their backup goalie. On a night where you are at home. You are playing with rest. And the team shutting you out played last night and had to travel to your rink. Β There were worse overall moments in the plast year (the losing streak last year) but has there been a single more disappointing game than what this one looks like? 2 1 2 Quote

Forecheck Posted November 7 Report Posted November 7 The Sabres could have possibly moved into a playoff spot tonight with a win. Instead they chose to play uninspired hockey against an inferior opponent so that they could stay at the bottom of the standings, where they are most comfortable. Tells you all you need to know about this years team. No different than past years.Β 2 Quote
