Sabres recall Noah Ostund and Zac Jones

Jones replaces Metsa as the 7th D as Metsa jumps into the starting lineup (most likely), but who is Östlund in for? Danforth? Did someone else get hurt?

Östlund plays a game the Sabres desperately need (playmaking centre) Wonder if he is ready to make an impact.

I focused on him last night and he was all over on both ends of the ice.  Incredible stamina.  First impression was a slightly smaller, faster O’Reilly type.  200’ player.

I went and looked at the Sabres healthy forwards with Greenway, Danforth, and Norris out and this is what we have

Tuch McLeod Zucker

Quinn Krebs Doan

Gersteen Kozak and …..?

Östlund enters the roster, but who slides to the 4th line? Krebs?

Krebs would be my choice.

Krebs moves down.  You are missing Malenstyn.

Hmm. If Greenway was about to come back, who exactly is Östlund stepping in for? Did another player get dinged up last game?

Has to be Geersten, I'd think. Needed him against Florida, Montreal maybe not

What is with the Malenstyn hate....he has block like a 1,000 shot on the PK this year and can both take a hit as well as give a hit!   Have you not watched the last two games????
