Flashsabre Posted Saturday at 02:40 AM Report Posted Saturday at 02:40 AM It’s a 💩 kicking in Game 1. Dodgers better hope their starters go 8 because Jays are going to feast on that bullpen Quote

I just don’t recall them having many in the regular season. Seemed like every time I watched them, they were constantly getting guys on base and putting balls in play. But man, that 6th inning was amazing. Quote
Thorny Posted Saturday at 03:02 AM Report Posted Saturday at 03:02 AM (edited) Jays nearly tripled the Brewers output from the entire NLCS in the first 6 innings of today’s game Barger equaled it with one swing Edited Saturday at 03:03 AM by Thorny 1 Quote

Next closest is Dodgers at .252 to get BETTER as you face elite competition is insane Edited Saturday at 03:21 AM by Thorny 1 1 1 Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted Saturday at 05:06 AM Report Posted Saturday at 05:06 AM Well, the talk of the Dodgers possibly sweeping has quieted down. Even with Othani getting 2 run HR, this was a blowout! Curious to see how this series unfolds. Quote

Absolutely there were big moments all season. Best offensive team in baseball. 1 Quote
Night Train Posted Saturday at 02:53 PM Report Posted Saturday at 02:53 PM Watched the replay this morning. Media gave Jays zero chance to win the series, prior to Game 1 . Go Jays ! 1 Quote

Go Jays ! I had hope, but didn’t give the Jays much of a chance, either. My main reason was starting pitching and what team could chase the other’s starter to get to the weak bullpens both teams have. I was shocked at how they chased Snell last night. If they can do the same to Yamamoto, then all bets are off and the Jays should be favored. Quote

Pimlach Posted Saturday at 03:58 PM Report Posted Saturday at 03:58 PM (edited) Good start for the Jays. They have momentum. The Dodgers will try to bury that game and come back. Edited Saturday at 05:23 PM by Pimlach Quote
Derrico Posted Saturday at 04:07 PM Report Posted Saturday at 04:07 PM Let’s Go Blue Jays!!!!! Jumping up 2-0 would be enormous. Getter done Gausman! Quote

They dial in against the “elite” starters and really work the count, they just DO NOT strike out which makes it incredibly difficult on said starters, who aren’t used to their relentless approach, 1 through 9. Against Seattle game 1 when they got the Mariners’ “5th” starter they struggled. Basically, they actually seem to up their game when facing the best pitching Edited Saturday at 05:41 PM by Thorny 1 1 Quote
K-9 Posted Sunday at 01:58 AM Report Posted Sunday at 01:58 AM Welp. Gausman was outstanding right up until the two 7th inning dinners and got chased. I wish I was confident the Jays can do the same to Yamamoto. We shall see. 1 Quote

Eleven Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago OK, bedtime for me is usually around 10. It's 1215 because Toronto's manager can't figure out how to walk a hot batter. (Granted it would have been about 1115 anyway). Goodnight, God bless, go Jays. 1 Quote
