Was Milan Lucic not available?  How can this be real life? In the drought era, how many bigger villains are there than Eric Stahl?  Lucic, Eichel, he’s not too far down the list.  Can they bring in Jon Bon Jovi as a business consultant?  What are we even doing here.

lol,  I guess the Sabres are using the Bills approach and only hiring guys who either played or worked in Carolina or Buffalo.  

I hear Cam Ward applied to be the new goaltending coach.

This is a move an experienced, successful GM makes.  
 

Why are we bringing in more inexperience with zero ties to the Buffalo franchise or community (a combo of both was warranted here.). 

 

My guess is Ryan Miller didn’t want the job?

 

EDIT:  I guess that’s the role the Senior Advisor will play.

It's because of the team they beat/injured.  That was the one people thought would win it all.  It definitely means a lot more to the people who lived there at that time.  I wasn't here at that point, but the fans here do definitely hold a grudge against us even still.
