Could you imagine how good the Bills would look if they had one of the Bengals top two receivers?… just one?

Damn.

Really fun game.

Would take a lot of pressure off Josh,  and open up the running game even more.

I would bet that every sack he’s taken this year has been a coverage sack.

I’m sure that’s hyperbole but it’s pretty close I bet.

Yeah, awesome, great timing for the Bills.

I’m not so sure about that given what is taking their place, New England, Denver and even the Houston. Denver and Houston have defenses that are built to pressure QB’s as we witnessed in our game against Houston.

Not really worried when Playoff Josh is coming out. Ed Oliver recovery ahead of schedule, they showed a video of him flexing the arm coming out onto the practice field the other day. Just in time for the playoffs.

Ed Oliver isn’t on the offense blocking that Denver or Houston pass rush.

Houston was on top of him before the center even snapped the ball.

Then they should have been called for encroachment.

You missed my sarcasm. The Bills needed KC to implode before now. The Bills have been close to imploding themselves, and other teams have cut line. Sports is grossly unfair. As is life. Grandfather dies, father dies, son dies is the natural order. If the Bills aren't in the Super Bowl this year, something is wrong with the universe. Also, proof there is no God.

That play was an attempt at a dagger play. A first down there and it’s game over. We abused the Bengal defense all afternoon so there was nothing wrong with the idea at all. Good teams do that all the time. The execution certainly sucked though.

It did, but for me the true dagger of this offense is the run game and not the passing game.  I wouldn't say the Bills abused the Bengals defense all afternoon. There was a point where the Bengals had 10 more points.

I respect your opinion, but I will always favor playing to win vs playing not to lose. We pretty much moved the ball at will all day long, especially with our TEs, as evidenced by the fact we didn’t punt the entire game. I liked our chances, especially with another down to play with. I appreciated McDermott’s decision to go for it on 4th and goal as well on the Hawes TD. Another play to win decision. Sure, it sucks when those plays don’t work, but it’s always the right mentality imo.

The play call here is not playing to win or lose. It's what call gives you the best chance to move the ball forward without stopping the clock. Personally I look at my #1 rushing offense in the NFL and ride that horse. Especially when it's a situation where the Bengals need to apply pressure for a stop. They're going to push up and press and there's a damn good chance that once Cook is through the hole the endzone is the next stop.

Playing to win would not be taking a knee with 10 seconds left in the first half and instead throwing a deep ball on a field where receivers have the advantage due to snow and an officiating crew that certainly loved its defensive passing play penalties. There's 10 seconds... why not take a chance?

And all of that aside.. why did the Bengals choose to kick-off rather than attempt the on-side kick? That's a clear cut decision of not playing to win.

I'm glad they won but not a single thing changes about how I feel. They are hanging on by a gossamer thread and we've already been presented with situations this year where that thread gets snapped more often than it stays intact.

I questioned whether it was, but, the Bills were in the Super Bowl this year, the game aired on Hallmark, and like a good massage it had a happy ending, thus proving there is a God.

Also Chris Brown reports the Bills have to finish ahead of the Pats to win the AFCE.

IF the Cheats lose to Miami and Buffalo and both win all their other games, why?

If the Cheats beat the Fish & or the Bills, yes, Buffalo will need more W's than the Cheats to get the division.

I feel like people are assuming a Baltimore loss.
