Robviously
Didn't Murray decline a trade that was something like Spooner + a 2nd for Stewart?McNabb and draft picks for Deslaurier and Fasching. Pysyk for Kulikov. Gosh, why is our defense bad?

Kruppstahl
Didn't Murray decline a trade that was something like Spooner + a 2nd for Stewart? Yes, that was the deal as I recall. Another error in a growing list of errors by GMTM.
Beer
McNabb and draft picks for Deslaurier and Fasching. Pysyk for Kulikov. Gosh, why is our defense bad? Hmmm, in hindsight those look pretty bad right now, I can only hope Fasching pans out.
Norcal
McNabb and draft picks for Deslaurier and Fasching. Pysyk for Kulikov. Gosh, why is our defense bad? nobody around here wanted or had any faith in mcnabb at the time
Randall Flagg
McNabb and draft picks for Deslaurier and Fasching. Pysyk for Kulikov. Gosh, why is our defense bad? McNabb is not a good player, and Kulikov, when used correctly, is a much better player than Pysyk. Those trades aren't where GMTM has gotten an F. Norcal
Serious question. Is anyone on here a former GM or coach in the NHL? OR current GM/HC?

Those trades aren't where GMTM has gotten an F. McNabb was +11 and had over 200 hits last year, and plays on their top pair, but other than that...yeah. Still waiting for any evidence Kulikov is any good at all. Maybe if he's ever healthy again?

Brawndo
Did you or anyone else hear the F-bombs in the background during the Foligno interview postgame? Dollars to donuts it was Jack  Oh that's Jack alright

Still waiting for any evidence Kulikov is any good at all. Maybe if he's ever healthy again? Plus minus while playing with Doughty, and hits, are not measures that tell me anything about whether or not a defenseman is good at hockey. Doesn't he still get healthy-scratched with regularity? He's not showing well right now, but the things that Florida fans told us were his strengths have not once been used because of what our defensemen are instructed to do with the puck. Was McNabbs +11 because of or in spite of that?
Robviously
He played 81 games last year on their top pair. So I'm guessing that's a no on the healthy scratches. We're not used to losing trades badly. So far that one is a disaster.
TrueBlueGED
There's a reason LA isn't as good as it used to be, and a part of that reason is Brayden McNabb is getting big minutes.

We're not used to losing trades badly. So far that one is a disaster. He's only a +11 playing with the Norris-winner? :P He's nothing special at all, and I guess the healthy scratches stopped last year. His advanced stats look like those of a player protected situationally and with the best defenseman on the planet to his right. He wouldn't be our savior. The trade is a loss if Fasching becomes a dud, but can't be judged at all until we see what Hudson does.

He's a good player. I get that no one wants to think we screwed up but not having him here hurts right now. Our defense this year is 55 and 29 and a bunch of garbage.
