Hoss
Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC That would make two openings in BUF. Brad Shaw, Todd Richards? Both with connections to Dan Bylsma Edited June 2, 2016 by Hoss
WildCard
I liked Barr too, that sucks. Though I'd be ecstatic to get Richards. He got shafted in Columbus IMO; that guy can coach
nfreeman
Was Barr's contract up?
Brawndo
I was hoping Mike Yeo would rejoin Blysma behind the bench, however he is in St Louis meeting with Armstrong and Hitchcock to become an assistant there with the plan to take over as the HC after Hitch retires. Randall Flagg
Not sure I want to watch a Yeo coached teamYeo would probably manage to completely neuter a power play with Eichel, Reinhart, Stamkos ( ;) ), O'Reilly, and Risto on it. beerme1
Surprising but I can live with this. Of course I'm praying that DD stops screwing around this year and knows EXACTLY who fills what needs on the team. Like the team, I expect a big improvement in the head coach. Assistants aren't going to make or break the team next year or any thereafter.
dudacek
I give Barr plenty of credit for the Sabres much-improved special teams. This does not make me happy.
Derrico
I give Barr plenty of credit for the Sabres much-improved special teams. This does not make me happy. Fair but I give Jack Eichel, Sam Reinhart and Ryan O'Reilly much more of the credit.

Brawndo
And Eichel should be on his off wing at the half wall for one timers

beerme1
Hoss why is the title that we have to replace two asst. coaches? Is Murray leaving also? If so I take back what I said earlier about asst coaches! Or are you saying Barr was so good we'll need two to replace him?
Hoss
Barr and Lambert left. Lambert went to Rochester and Barr to Florida. The expectation is that they'll replace both.
beerme1
Thanks. Wasn't aware of Lambert. So I'm sticking with my original point then lol.
