Rob Ray's Beyond Blue & Gold

"I don't possess that piece of knowledge, therefore you certainly don't" is a peculiar drum to march to. I hope that is working out well for everyone. I can't seem to find any flaws in such a philosophy...

Another 5 sec search after "edging" clearly shows it isn't just an Urban Dictionary entry. It is clearly a popular method for both enlarging and self-control given the list of websites that come up - including Cosmo. But everyone is probably right - Ray is an unlikely target for wanting a bigger penis and to perform like a pornstar. His Google searches are probably limited to Emerson and Tennyson.

Well, then. It's on the internet so it has to be true and everyone knows about it.

There are plenty of people in this world that don't even know what Urban Dictionary is let alone the definitions of every single phrase that could have a second, naughty meaning.

"I possess this knowledge, therefore everyone does" is even more peculiar, no?

Never said it. Never implied it. It doesn't surprise me what other people know and I would never assume I have a priori knowledge of their life experiences/interests/curiosities/ailments. Ray may or may not know what edging is. Saying he doesn't because the poster doesn't is highly illogical though.

Well, I had to look it up, and a bigger wanker and porn star performance is on my bucket list........

Exactly. The entire world can't be above average...

I think the surmise re "edging" was based on matters beyond the posters themselves not knowing.

Far more likely he was going for edgy, folded in some egging (on), and stumbled into edging.

The poster implying Ray intended to use the poster's definition of edging, that no one else here has ever heard of, on the grounds that it is somehow common knowledge is illogical.

What a stupid conversation.

"They're edging, about to explode" makes more sense than "they're edgy, about to explode". He was talking about the teams about to brawl.

Edging has gotten popular on the internet over the last few years in the manosphere. If Brad May or somebody said it, I wouldn't care, but Rob Ray strikes me exactly the type of character to be looking at that stuff online and then letting it slip on air. Again, I think it's hilarious, no problems with it at all. But that's just my thought process.

No way.

Just sayin'.

I don't claim to know the man but I've probably listened to hundreds of his GameDay interviews on WGR. He speaks like a man that spends his free time in nature and not perusing the Internet for the latest man sayings. I'm not certain he knows how to operate a computer.
