While Scott's work is without a doubt unrivaled, LGC site is actually one of the better forums since they do not allow obnoxius sigs and glowing text, etc. like some forums. Two or less Posted March 3, 2011 Report Share Posted March 3, 2011 I went to Carolina for game 5 in the Carolina/Sabres series and the people right above me told me i was an alcoholic and even told the usher to "cut me off" because i was on like beer number 7 in the 2nd period. The usher asked if i was spilling or swearing, and they said no, just it's not what they want their son to see. The usher told them to relax and ignore me. But, the dude told me for them it's a "family day out of the house" like entertainment, going to the movies or something, and wished the Sabres fans would respect them for that and "tone it down". So, i can see why these people get upset with us. We take over their building, and they are just jealous of our passion and love for the sport and our team. The usher asked if i was spilling or swearing, and they said no, just it's not what they want their son to see. The usher told them to relax and ignore me. But, the dude told me for them it's a "family day out of the house" like entertainment, going to the movies or something, and wished the Sabres fans would respect them for that and "tone it down". The crowd will be filled as it would of been no matter what so you're right about that but i do feel this game has a feeling of a playoff game, just by looking at friends facebook status comments and people planning on going out for the game. It's a huge game, we've been playing some great hockey since that Dec 23rd Florida game with the hopes of a game like this... to get into 8th.
