Based on the way they played tonight, even though they won, I think season ends tomorrow night. Either Carolina will win or the Rangers will. I'm hopeful that things work out, but Carolina is red hot right now and we need Philly to do us a favor, and I just don't see it happening. We'll see, but we live for another day. Rangers won last night, so the Sabres can't drop any points in their last three and the Flyers have to sweep the Rangers (plus, another Florida regulation loss or two OT losses) for the Sabres to stay in it. We can still win in OT or a SO right? The dropped 'loser' points will not affect the standings as far as our playoff chances go. ...or am i wrong? Just saw your question, but I think that you misunderstood me. By "can't drop any points" I meant that they have to get two in every game. Doesn't matter if it comes in regulation, OT or a SO, but they have to get two. They can't drop any of the potential points that they have left to earn. At least you had the decency to post this. But "Full Edit" would have been better. As for the game -- eeeeesh. Hard to think a miracle finish is coming after watching a so-so performance against a lousy team. In the 1st period they looked ready to run for the bus a few times.
