  1. Dallas fans are feeling more moribund than we are right now. They're wondering how their team can utterly dominate and only be up by a goal.
  2. "Falk aggressively pinches to keep it in." Well we've all been there.
  3. I don't think we've looked this badly outclassed all season.
  4. Surprising fact: 8 skaters in our lineup today have a positive +/- stat. Slightly less surprising: Foligno leads that group at +5. Last year, the only 2 regular skaters (definition being 41 games or more) with a positive were Foligno and McCabe.
  5. We've averaged 3.3 goals per game since Jack's return. 1.9 goals per game before it.
  6. I wonder what the record is for the percentage of points gathered on the power play...let's say minimum 20 points.
  7. 6 of Moulson's 7 goals and 8 of his 9 points have come on the PP.
  8. The current system and your edition both fail to value each game equally. I'm in favor of 3 for a regulation win, 2 for an OT/SO win, 1 for OT/SO loss, 0 for regulation loss.
  9. I also blame Kane. Nilsson had a better chance of stopping Greene's initial shot than the penalty shot, or probably even the ensuing 4-3 PP if the call went the other way.
  10. My stance is that we need to get a point per game until Jack returns. Ugly as this is, they accomplished it today.
  11. Larry has 12 goals since the beginning of last season and 7 of them are GWGs.
  12. Little factoid for the stats nerds: At his current rate, Kasdorf will never allow a goal in his career.
  13. Larsson, who has 4 goals, is now tied for the team-lead in GWG with 3.
  14. Gio! That's our first even strength goal in 11 periods.
  15. Thoughts on Lehner? He's looked unsteady at times to me, but that huge body in net just gives us a different look in our own end.
  16. 4-1-0 since the second half of the season started. Bring on the Avalanche.
  17. How the hell did Richardson miss that one? Yotes have to feel snakebit right now.
  18. This season isn't about the playoffs. Obviously it is for the players, but as far as the fans and team management are concerned this particular level of play was to be expected. Now that Eichel, Risto and Reinhart all have their feet thoroughly wet, I'll be disappointed if we aren't competitive in the division next season. Biggest x-factor is whether or not Lehner will emerge as a consistent starter...and if not, will the team give somebody else a fair shake.
