    This thread should be closed. Any talk of trading Kane is ridiculous....He was the key part of Murray's biggest trade to bring him here. Leading goal scorer, plays hard every shift and is tough to play against. This team is making a run at the playoffs and he is a big part.....I'm tired of losing and playing for the future

    Understood but you said limp in to the playoffs....if they get in it, they won't limp in. They need to get hot. If they do then there is a chance to win in 1st round I know it's not probable

    How do you know they would be eliminated? If this team somehow makes the playoffs that means they got really hot and were playing extremely well to get in. Not exactly limping in. You wouldn't be excited by that......or do we never want our teams to make the playoffs?

    Unlike Rob Ray's keys to the game...which usually state to slow the game down and not get in to a shootout, this team needs to forget a little about defense and let the forwards go...we have some offensive talent...put pressure on the opponent

    on a complete opposite note, early to mid 70s was great...Bills, Sabres and Braves were all playing well. That was a fun time as a young sports fan. ( yes, I'm old)

    I don't see how we're losing the Kane trade. Bogo has not been great but Kane has been playing the best of the 4 main players. Stafford is awful 4-7-11 on the season and Myers is injured again. How is McCormick considered a major FA signing?
