  1. Wholeheartedly agree here. I can't believe people are trying to downplay that hit. Explain to me how you embellish end-range cervical extension/rotation against a stationary object (or why you would even want to?). It looked awful in real time and could have ended a lot worse that it did. I don't care if Richards is a puss, It was a boneheaded of Kaleta to perform the action. That said, Kaleta's not the only one and the bush league that is the NHL continues to create double standards.
  2. Nice, I've never had it. Will check it out.
  3. COYS!!!!! Huge win, flirting with CL Group Stage now. Bye Bye Arsene.........
  4. Local beer bar tonight, belly full of IPA... Some key tasting notes... Engine 15 Battle Axe IPA - Hoppy, Sweet on the tongue but equally bold finish. A great balance. Bold City Chinook IPA - flat on back end. Not impressed. Sweet Water 420 - an old friend, mild but smooth.
  5. The Chivas story made me cry. Bio, try Yamakazi 18 or 12y. Very very good, would think it was Caol Ila.

    Danny Gare

Probably play them too far right.
  7. Great Lakes is right across the street from the West Side Market, just behind the park.
  8. Agree with most above. Others- -If you like Italian, I have never had better than Bruno's on the west side. Neighborhood is a little ghetto bit worth it. -Corned beef Panini from Paninis -Westside Market has EVERYTHING (mexican, brats, seafood) but not sure if open on the weekends. -Sullivan's Irish Pub in Lakewood. Killer food, Salmon Boxty is my fab -Beer at Great Lakes. Yes. -I used to get a killer Cubano sandwhich on the west side but can't remember the spot.
  9. This team has had enough enabling. Blunt truth is appreciated.
  10. I don't think Darcy will have the chance. Fans and management (I think) are locked in on him. If RR fails, its not his system but the chess pieces. All DR.
  11. Ha Ha, I was thinking the same thing. I love you Yuri but sometimes I feel like I'm reading the transcript to Bad Lip-Reading from YouTube
  12. Sucks dude. Hoping the best for ya, Nice beer, good hockey, get your mind off it.
  13. RT @BNHarrington: Stafford on Lindy's firing: "There's no other word to describe it except just shocking." Really? REALLY?
  14. Though I have glimpses of Bowman, I wasnt old enough to truly follow them until Craig Ramsey. As far as Pre-Ruff, I remember the highs and lows of Muckler era, the backlash over firing Nolan (I didn't share the same anger). The team was similar to Lindys first few years, lean on a wordly goalie, gritty, play hard. Funny, we are probably in a similar situation now except for the play hard part.
  15. I know his name is Ron and he's driving a piece of crap team, so I get the reference. But you got me excited with Kurt wearing an eye patch, I thought you went Snake Plissken on this thread. There's a reference in there too. Somewhere.
  16. Indeed, better times. Made me sad because I remember how proud I was of LR for sending out the hounds and challenging Murray. Where did that Lindy go to?
  17. Holy sh$$, of all days to forget my phone at work. I found out through the CoMac thread. Oh Sabrespace, what would I do without you. I still have go back and read this thread, but I did not expect this, well, ever.
  18. I respectfully disagree. We're not even close. But it depends on what you consider rock bottom.
  19. "Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" Takes a lot for me to condone booing our own.
  20. I've heard it so many times I can give you those quotes verbatim.
