  1. He's a columnist, so not uncommon. I don't think so. As a columnist, he's there to sell. No different than Skip Bayless on ESPN. Heavily biased, emotional. But that doesn't make him wrong.
  2. I'd rather have Stamkos over Crosby.
  3. I enjoyed Racer 5. The finish isn't as smooth, is more abrupt than Two Hearted, so I'm inclined to go with the latter if I had to choose. However a very nice beer, fragrant hops, will definitely come back to it. Noted on the Hop Rod, thanks. Maximus is one of my favorite IIPAs so agree with the Lagunitas plug. I was disappointed with Lucky U this time. It may have been that my palate was shot, really stretched last night, but it was less flavorful and higher carb than the others. Been awhile since I've had it but don't remember it as such.
  4. If they were up till the wee hours celebrating THAT win, the disfunction of this team is even deeper than we thought.
  5. Agreed. It's like ERA for pitchers, not an individual statistic. Do we have a hockey derivative for WHIP?
  6. Finally able to turn the game on. Did I hear the shot total correct?, WTF.. I'll take that Goal though.
  7. I've never had Racer 5. Me thinks a trip to the beer store is in order. EDIT: Thanks for the rec, I've had two hearted before so will compare those. Here's tonight's linuep:
  8. Agreed in all fronts here. Very disappointed in Lennon, hasn't always played down. But may be the system, under Harry he was more productive. Clint is great. Took awhile for him to find his place. Thank you Fulham
  9. The difference is that concept of Ott is built on his reputation before coming here. He was a favorite of mine. Which is why I'll be pissed if Lindy ruins the guy. Concept of Kassian is built on his perceived potential.
  10. Damn, beat me to it. I thought of that and Eugene Levy's two left feet in Dog Show. Don't ask me why.
  11. Did you read his story in ESPN mag? If not, it's a great read. He wasn't getting anywhere with the Argentina youth squads and his family couldn't afford his meds. Barca, on the other hand, paid for everything and he moved to Spain with his dad I think. The rest is history.....
  12. Theyre better than they've shown. Regehr was even +/- through 5 games @ 17min TOI/G before getting hurt. Myers was even on the year until Regehr got hurt, now he's -9. If RR comes back soon I predict a slight bump in wins. But I still think we end up ~9th.
  13. He has been all his life, though its for hormonal imbalance leading to stunted growth. He was nothing until he got into the Barca system. Simply amazing.
  14. I subscribe to the law of contrary public opinion....... Well done.
  15. It was a really sad story. Through no fault of their own the Columbian team were hooked by Pablo's cartel. They played with outright fear. It that case the OG probably cost him his life. OGs happen all the time tho, heck Walters had 2 in the same game for Stoke a couple weeks back. I guess the moral of the story is don't score on yourself when your teams affiliated with a drug cartel.
  16. He's the reason I have content for this and the whisky thread.
  17. Hey, he's more aerodynamic now. Bale loves CR, so your comparison makes sense.
