This is an improvement from Nolan being that we have some structure with Bylsma. However, that said, I've never come out of a Bylsma coached game with the feeling we won because of some clever strategic mid-game adjustment. I understand it's not football, but there are things you can do throughout the course of the game to change it up if you're either not generating shots or bottled up in your own end... etc. It seems we have one style of play and we're going to play it come hell or high water.

you woudl think front-to-back is the only option right? but what if you just drove in reverse for a while? then you could switch sides and wear them evenly... stuff like this keeps me up at night.

That sucks.... joys of parenting. Fun fact, I've saved both my boys teeth over the years and turned them into necklaces but they refuse to wear them.... I suppose that's my complaint for the day :(

I took a 1 unit self-imposed penalty (half of what I wagered on that game) for placing my bet late, how is that being a douche? In the real world, bets are not allowed after the game starts, let's be clear on the rules here... any bets placed after puck drop are invalid (and lighthearted jokes about such bets are not allowed).

This hockey season just plain sucks.

hahaha It really challenges you as a fan of the team to continue to watch... it certainly feels like a chore at times. This team is just so mentally weak and fragile, whether or not that's a lingering symptom of the tank years or lack of leadership, I don't know. Gionta and Gorges are the only players on the roster who have decent playoff experience. I'd expect those two to be more vocal during games, holding guys accountable, etc... but I don't see it, which is disappointing. It's almost as if they've just given up on these guys with the realization this is likely their last season with the club.
