  1. I love how this has become a bash Bucky thread, and completely ignore the point at hand, which is Pegula's stance on R&R. Pegula, Black, Regier and Ruff thank you profusely. Hope you enjoy 16 more years of mediocrity.
  2. Maybe he's hoping that the one person who doesn't have a firm grip of the obvious reads the paper today. ;)
  3. Crosby, and there is not a close second.
  4. Operate without fear? When were R&R ever in jeopardy of losing their jobs?
  5. Are Gogulla and Schutz playing for Germany? I still think Gogulla would have been a decent 3rd line player if he would have stuck around?
  6. You mean that same stretch of games where he had a meager 17 assists, the Penguins went 8-2-2, and oh by the way, was interrupted by a 3 month injury absence?
  7. If the same exact words were written by someone else at the News(or some national hockey writer), would you still have a problem with it? The dislike for Sully and Bucky is comical.
  8. We all got caught up in the euphoria of Pegula taking over, but reality is setting in. The longer he sticks with R&R, the more foolish he looks(along with Black). http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20130210/SPORTS/130219932/1104
  9. LaFontaine had an amazing 148 points that same year, and Hawerchuk had 96. In addition you had May and Ray for additional "entertainment". :) http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagues/seasons/teams/0000331993.html
  10. Sorry I disagree. My seats are looking down on the goal line, and usually someone in the row wants to lean over the glass, despite being in row one, and not HAVING ANYONE IN FRONT OF THEM. Whenever this happens, the people will get a polite request from me to sit back. You can sit on the edge of your seat...as long as you aren't leaning forwards. If you don't want to look through the glass, yes it can be annoying, don't sit in row one.
  11. I agree. I am ready to move on from Miller knowing what his salary demands will be, and what his play has been like minus the Olympic year. Trade him in the offseason or at the deadline next year. I will leave it up to Darcy to figure out who his replacement will be.
  12. That has also crossed my mind. Pominville, Vanek, and Miller are all in the same boat with contracts ending after next season.
  13. Define "solid playoff position"?
  14. I have parked in that lot under the Elm St. ramp on Exchange for years. Then when they allowed street parking on Exchange I would park there when I get there early enough. Then there are people who promote where there is free parking, and I end up back in the lot.
  15. Big difference between fans wanting them to lose and end up with the number 1 pick(no guarantees with the lottery), and asking if the Sabres are intentionally losing, which is ridiculous.
  16. I have no interest in Kessel, but Myers complete game is a trainwreck right now, not just what you described above. In addition to the problems you stated, he is playing hot potato with the puck, he has no offensive game at all, and no physical play. I consider it a plus when he is staying on his skates nowadays.
  17. For my friends in Rochester, any thoughts on Brian Flynn? Seems to be having a decent rookie season. Played four years of college hockey and is already 24. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=116630
  18. My point wasn't so much that we should have kept Boyes, it was more to illustrate the lack of production from a large group of the current forward ranks.
  19. Saw this on another site... Jhonas Enroth was 16-4-2 in his first 22 decisions in the NHL. In his last 17 decisions, he's 1-12-4. WTF! :censored:
