  2. Season series: The Ottawa Senators won three of four games last season against the Buffalo Sabres and have won nine of the past 12. The game was scheduled to be played Feb. 20 at First Niagara Center but was pushed back after a November snowstorm in Buffalo forced the postponement of the Sabres game with the New York Rangers, which will be played Feb. 20.
  3. Current losing streak has this board in an uproar. Lets hope this game is the start of something better. Recall from Rochester, Pardy up. (Probably NSFW) http://youtu.be/YFF3EaclEEE
  4. Hey! Sabres play today! My insider info says Grigs sits.
  5. Ahem.... YOOOUUUUU'RREEEEE BUFFALO SABRES ARE BACK IN ACTION TONIGHT AND READY TO RUMBLE AGAINST THE LOWLEY (LOWELY?) BEAURCRATIC ###### THAT ARE THE OTTAWA SENATORS Buffalo looks to bounce back after a tough but resilient road trip that saw them go 1-0-2 in which Robin Lehner couldn't get his head far enough out of his own ass to stop 70 shots in a game and Jack Eichel held off on buying himself a set of legos because Santa is right around the corner, and nobody can tell him he's not real I'll post the lineups tomorrow
  6. The Sabres travel to Canada's Capital to face the red hot Senators. Goalie Andrew Hammond is 6-0-1 with 2 shut outs GAA 1.35 and a .957 Save Percentage. Chad Johnson gets his first start for the Sabres. ICYMI Grigo recalled yesterday
  7. JACK'S BACK The night we've all been waiting for: Jack Eichel and Your Buffalo Sabres start the season.... for realz this time. Now it's not quite official but I'd be shocked if we don't see Jack on the ice tonight. The Sabres have taken 3 of 4 points from Ottawa so far this year. This is a good rivalry game, and a great time for Jack to come out scoring. Let's take it to the Senators! And now, a word from our MODO:
  8. This ain't no party. This ain't no disco. This ain't no foolin' around. There was a bit of a circus attitude around the Toronto game. I mean, you can't get too hyped up because half the arena was going to be from Toronto. They're just weird, those games against the Leafs. Ottawa's a different story. There are blood lines that have been crossed. Our GM is from there, he's cherry picked some of the players out of their system. He drafted some of the players on their team. This is a case where familiarity breeds contempt. This isn't a fun exhibition in front of fans from both cities, this is a grudge match. There is no love lost between the Sabres and Sens. The Sabres seem to get up for the Sens. They take care of business. Let's hope the do exactly that tonight in Ottawa. The Sabres are a frustrated team, beating Toronto in all respects except the scoreboard. The only thing that will satisfy their lust is blood a win. I'm looking forward to a good game. A game were the Sabres get back to the things that made them successful in their 3-game winning streak. Look for a lot of energy, a lot of hounding, busy sticks and effective checks. Roster note: Justin Bailey was sent down to Rochester, and William Carrier was called up to replace him. Look for Nick Baptiste to slide over to the right wing while Carrier makes his NHL regular season debut. LET'S GO BUFFALO!
