Since I am on my anti-Nolan bandwagon, let me be the first to say, I am glad Reinhart is out of here. I would have loved for him to stay up here until the WJC, go there in December, and then come back and play limited minutes, practice his a$$ off, and become best friends with the S&C coach, but IMO this was the right call.

I stand by my comment earlier this week. This tire fire is just getting started and is going to get worse. IMO Nolan will not survive the season, and Cunneyworth will be named interim for the remainder of the season.

So Hodgson gets demoted to the fourth line, gets asked after practice if he is upset about it, and the answer is no. Shouldn't he be upset and pissed about off about being demoted? Wouldn't that be the way a coach would want his player to respond. So all the juicing, detoxing, and weightlifting with the great Gary Roberts that I heard so much about, really means NOTHING when it comes to stepping on the ice. Just got home. A couple thoughts... - Armia to Grigs and then Grigs(faceoff win) to Armia. Very nice. - Makarov was good, but both Hamilton goals beat him blocker side. - Considering tix were included in all STH packages for free, the crowd was really disappointing. I'm guessing somewhere between 3000-4000. - Lot of wasted PP chances for Amerks. Could have put the game away.

Not the losses, but the way they are being outplayed and the ridiculous lack of scoring is what bother me most. I would fire TN today, promote Cunneyworth as interim, and find a new coach in the offseason.

As a partial season ticket holder, I end up going to about 15-20 games. Last year we sold a lot. This year, I have the feeling we are either going to watch this crap, or just give the tix away...and even that might be hard unless their is a really good opponent in town.

How do you define "losing on purpose"? Are you saying the players are throwing games? The coach is telling them not to try? TM tried to change up the team in the off-season, and they still suck. How is that "losing on purpose"?

So they should just throw 30 balls in, and whichever one comes out first, draft firsts, even if it is the Stanley Cup champs? Is that what you want?

So it's better to have a system where a team that just misses the playoffs could end up with McDavid?
