This was just a typical Sabre's game. Hung with a top team, but stupid mistakes cost the win. I just enjoy the hockey and can care less about this team. They are what they are and are NOT going to change. As long as you do not care if they win or not, they have been more or less fun to watch. If you have any expectation of winning, they are a tire fire.

He is not a 100 Point center. He is a 30 goal scorer who is a true #1 C. Marty Biron compared him to Vanek and i think that is a great comparison. I would easily trade Cozens and whatever to get him. This team needs maturity and goal scoring, he provides.

Which means the fault lies with the Owner. Putting the wrong hockey people in the wrong spots for so long gives you this hot mess. I mean WE SCREWED UP A TANK WITH A GENERATIONAL PLAYER!!!! Hell we gave away a stanley cup team. Just my opinion but this is what we need to do: KA - GONE!!!! Lindy - Promoted to GM Seth - Make HC. Hire a real PP guy (Or girl!) Trade Cozens!! Supposedly there is a lot of interest in him! Get a rugged physical scorer that goes to the front of the net Trade either Byrum or Power for a top 2 defensive physical dman! How many freaking puck moving dmen do you need????

I do not think i have ever seen a bigger tire fire then the Sabres Organization. Whats worse is that the problem has been the same for the last 15 years. Non tenacious passive team. ALWAYS!!! Have forecheck kills this team and turns them into AHL players that do stupid things! They are the biggest group of mental failures i have ever seen put together. I am so glad i can finally just watch and shut it off and walk away now without getting pissed off or upset. Now i understand how ROR feels. The Sabres sucked my love of hockey away. FU TP and KA.
