If Pinto is traded my prediction is out west to Minnesota for Rossi. Word is Minny want a bigger centre and Rossi was a star in Ottawa for the 67s.

I like the 4th line construction. They need to upgrade Joker on the 2nd pair and an impact forward through trades now.

I don’t agree with Peters I think he’s an idiot. Someone just asked for possible reasons teams wouldn’t want to deal with Buffalo so I listed some potential reasons.

I think Stephenson seems like a Sabres signing. I think realistically guys like Stephenson, Carrier, Martinook, Wennberg are their targets. Matt Roy would be such a good addition for Power but his market will be big. Maybe a trade for Ehlers or Iafallo.

I actually wouldn’t be surprised with Pegula wanting to get aggressive.

I would put Nashville as the favourite but who knows if someone goes crazy with an offer. Maybe someone trades for Stamkos rights early.

The cap hit would remain at $12.9M through the contract while the percentage would decline as the cap is expected to increase. But that number seems untenable on a deal that would likely be seven or eight years and take Shesterkin — who has had two very uneven regular seasons following his 2021-22 Vezina — to age 36 or 37. Yep I was wrong. I watched that draft with my dad and I wanted Rossi and was upset with Quinn. My dad tried to convince me how good Quinn was. When I started watching video on Quinn I settled down and got optimistic.
