Lance said Anderson watched practice from the bench in full gear and a yellow jersey. Definately sounds like he isn’t considering shutting it down and that we could see him back in the next little while.

What I love about Krebs is that besides the offensive chops is the busting his ass back on the backcheck to break up a play or cover a guy to take away a prime option. That and the will to stick his nose in along the boards and all the dirty areas. His game reminds me of Gilmour. Never the flashiest but skill+work ethic+heart makes him a difference maker all over the ice.

Krebs should have 4 points tonight.

Some people want some more physical play but there are some that want Ted Nolan coaching Ray, May, Barnaby , Boughner in 2021.😬

Bills tackling has been horrendous today

Alex Tuch Scheduled to Make His Sabres Debut on 12/20
Flashsabre replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
And in classic Sabres fashion Tuch is in but Thompson might be out. Game 77 might be the one we get a full lineup.🤪 Really looking forward to Tuch. For the first time in a long time the 2022 Sabres could be a big club. Tuch, Tage, Cozens, Murray, Power, Samuelsson are all very big, skilled players. -
No worries with Krebs. He is a player. Needs a finisher to finish off his setups.

That was a hell of a character point there. This team is everything Krueger tried to tell us his team was but could never get them to be. Hats off to Subban, hell of a game. Fitz was inspired tonight, hope he gets a long look. Dahlin is starting to consistently impact games. Don’t know how long Mitts is out for but him and Tuch anchoring another line would be very nice in the 2nd half.

Comparing Dahlin and Power, we're not there yet
Flashsabre replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
Dahlin, Power, Joker, Samuelsson, Johnson is by far the most talented young D group this franchise has ever had. Watching them develop will be a lot of fun. It will be natural for Power v Dahlin debates but I’m just happy e have both. -
GDT - Sabres @ Wild - December 16, 2021 - 8 PM (EST) - MSG-B and WGR

People should really look at what Lidstrom and Hedman were doing at 21. I think people forget Ray Bourque made mistakes all the time because he was the guy and had the puck so much for Boston. I think in 2 years when this team is competing that Dahlin will be incredible -

Play UPL in Pitt. He will have time to rest when Covid shuts things down.😳 Really liked Dahlin tonight. Dahlin, Cozens, Tage, Joker, now UPL taking consistent positive steps is huge this year. Just bummed that Mitts isn’t doing it with them. Guy can’t catch a break this season. -
Who Does KA Trade at the Deadline and What Does He Get For Them?
Flashsabre replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
I hope Adams hold out for the “Eichel package” with Dell. 4 first round pieces for Dell or no deal.😜😀 Miller probably is the one guy that might get a decent pick. IF Anderson comes back and regains form then he is the other but that is a big IF. -
Do the Sabres actually need more RHD or does it not matter?
Flashsabre replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
Let’s just go 6 LHD. Friedman says Coyotes are gauging interest in Chychurun. The family is friends with the Pegulas.😀 He is a hell of dman though and I wonder if their would be interest even with Power and Dahlin. Hypothetically what would you be willing to part with to get him? 23, big, plays with an edge, scores from the backend. Age would fit with core. You would have to make other changes to the backend but he would be a high end piece to add. -
Next season is the one I’m really interested in regarding the rebuild. We could be looking at Power, Quinn, Krebs, Peterka, Samuelsson all joining the team full time. Most will probably get a cup of coffee at the end of the year but all should be competing for full time spots next season. I would add UPL but he might be cementing himself now. You will also have Tuch healthy to start the season ( I know he will be back in the new year but to start the season with him healthy will be huge) That is a lot of important young talent coming in. How does Adams set up the team next year. What dead weight is cut and how does he handle the cap with so many players on ELCs. I am interested to see what happens with Johnson and Levi. Johnson they kind of need to sign, Levi could play another year in college but is that best for him if he continues to dominate. This draft will be very big too. I think next season will tell us if this thing is on the right path or not. Right now I am optimistic that it is.

Did Dahlin and UPL just become best friends?
Flashsabre replied to PASabreFan's topic in The Aud Club
They both love JOHN STAMOS!😀 -
Eberle was a big piece for them but not the reason they are bad. Darth hit many of the points above.
-
Trust me, the spending bare minimum towards the Cap isn’t an Adams idea. Those marching orders came from the top. The actual development plans and such are absolutely Adams, Karmanos and the FO but I have no doubt that Pegula is abreast of all decisions. I think he believes Adams and gives him the rope he needs outside of the financial side at the moment.
-
This team is making trades for injured players just to get to the cap floor and be compliant with the bare minimum team salary. Lets not pretend this year was about being competitive and that the Pegulas would be shocked with the results and looking for change. The young kids are developing throughout the organization, Adams plan, worked on and approved by the Pegulas, is right on track for this year.

Is Charlotte a good team , is the goaltending crapping the bed or is this just one of those nights that happens once in a blue moon?
-
Is anyone playing goal for the Amerks?
-
Hopefully Krebs continues to roll tonight.

The difference is Adams is the Pegulas guy. Both Murray and Botts were people the NHL strongly suggested to the Pegulas. They feel burned by that. They are big on loyalty and Adams is the ultimate loyalty soldier. Adams has worked lockstep with the Pegulas for a decade and made them happy in every role he was given. They are happy they have Adams in place. They trust him and the communication is honest and open. Adams knows how to handle them too. What to say and do to make them happy. This is a rebuild and Adams has a ton of runway ahead of him.
