  1. https://hockeyprospect.com/2022-nhl-draft-top-32-ranking-hockeyprospect-com-december-26-2021/ These rankings are ...uh.... interesting.
  2. The package is noticeable but he has no results yet. SWeden are deep and he is not being used in an offensive role. He seems to be very alert defensively and has broken up a handful of opportunities. His wheels are elite when he gets a chance to use them. He is slight of build. Rosen is a homerun risk type pick. The hope is he puts on weight and in 3-4 years is a star player with his skating and shot.
  3. Rosen’s career is over. He will never recover from this. Are the Sabres allowed to disown him before the tournament even ends? They didn’t do it with Jack Quinn during last year’s tournament and we are stuck with him now.😜
  4. How is it going down? Results in a men’s professional league trump a couple games in an U20 tournament. And what has done wrong in the WJCs so far?
  5. Watching him at the World Championships, Michigan and at the WJCs the thing that stands out to me is his ability to use his body to shield the puck, twist and turn his body to avoid checkers and chip a pass out of danger or rifle a pass on the tape to an open man. Then in the offensive zone he either plays rover or runs the pp from the point. He won’t be a shutdown standout physically but he uses his reach and body position to be effective while being an impact player at the offensive end.
  6. Those fans don't deserve Nice things and will never be happy with anything. Such a sad way to go thru life.
  7. Bills slapped the Pats Power with at hat trick an Player of the Game award. Today was a Good Day!!😀 Draft implications: David Jiricek looks like he blew out his knee trying to throw a hit. Not Good.
  8. He didn’t play a lot. Sweden has a deep team. When he did play his speed and skill was on display. He is slight, he will have to fill out over the next couple years.
  9. I have never watched Askarov have a good game. Yikes
  10. One of Power’s biggest strengths is making the right little pass in the d zone that allows his team to break out of the zone consistently. Novikov plays a physical game, knocked down a couple Canadians. Between Askarov and Cossa, the goaltending was shaky at times.
  11. Lambert has a Kessel vibe but I have no idea if he knows how to use his skills to impact a game.
  12. If Anderson comes back it will be interesting to see what they do with UPL. Do they keep him up or send him down?
  13. RUH ROH Czech game cancelled today because of Covid protocols.
  14. The Pegulas are about trust and communication. They felt burned by Murray and Botts. Adams is their man. If there ever was going to be a President of Hockey Ops it would be putting the title on Adams and Karamos would be GM. They aren’t bringing anyone else in to directly report to them that hey don’t know and fully trust.
  15. It’s ok I have never respected any of your hockey takes. Merry Christmas!
  16. I literally have no clue what you are mumbling about.
  17. What are you on about?
  18. I hope they aren’t selling. If they want to bring in a partner great but I think they finally have things in place and the train is moving in the right direction. If the Sabres are in on Chychrun then it is probably coming from Pegula. They are (or were) neighbours with the Chychruns and I believe that Murray passing on him was the beginning of the rift between Murray and the Pegulas. Chychrun is having a down her but he is a good talent who brings a gritty aspect to the game. Samuelsson Dahlin Chychrun Joker Power Pysyk/Fitzgerald Johnson, Portillo and Fla 1st for Chychrun Final Offer😁
  19. Are Russia allowed to be called Russia again at the Olympics?
  20. All teams are playing pre tournament games on Thursday.
  21. The difference is the Sabres haven’t been shutdown because their team has multiple cases. My complaint is teams that have been paused for multiple cases shouldn’t be sending players down.
  22. Getting the AHL package was a good choice this year. Getting to watch the kids develop has been fun. They have put together just the type of AHL team you should want. Enough good vets that the team will be competitive with some high end kids that can develop and learn from the vets and also carry the mail when need be. I scratch my head at Appert’s system sometimes but they are a fun group to cheer for. Peterka seems at his best when he is using his electric wheels to blow by defenders and use his rocket shot. Where he struggles right now is when the puck is on his stick and he has to slow down and make decisions with it. That will come more with experience and the AHL is the right level to work on that. To me Quinn, Krebs, Peterka, Samuelsson and UPL are future key pieces at the NHL level. Murray, Laaksonen and Fitzgerald are guys that will play in the NHL but their impact might not be as great(bottom 6 or 3rd pair guys) Pekar might make a 4th line down the line. Can’t get a real handle on Biro yet. He is small but talented. Might be a good AHLer, might get a look. Behind the bench I don’t know what to think of Appertains. Have high hopes for Peca making his way up to Buffalo eventually in a coaching role. Weber too. Nice to see Murray and UPL already developing, moving up and having an impact in Buffalo. Shows the system is working.
  23. I find this asinine. Panthers were shutdown so they let Knight go down to Charlotte. Talk about stupid. Shouldn’t all the players be isolating if there are enough cases to shut a team down. Not walking into another dressing room full of players.
  24. Tuch scores 3 goals, 3 assists, knocks 2 Jackets out cold with mammoth hits and goes down the bench fighting the entire Jackets roster, beating up and disposing of each Jacket as he goes!!😁
