Again, I couldn’t hear the whole conversation but Healy and Poulin were talking about who is in charge of the lineup and then I heard Healy say “Don’t do it Buffalo” So I am jumping to conclusions but I think that is what the conversation was.

If you have no hope why are you still here? Yea they have been rebuilding the wrong way since around 2013. The hope comes from the fact that Adams seems to have this on the right track finally. There is a ton of top young talent either knocking on the door or debuting. We have a young leader in Tuch who wants to be here and plays the right way and leads by example. Things are pointed in the right direction even with the hiccups that happen with a tear down. Choose to have hope or be miserable, makes no difference to me.

If Anderson could put 4-5 games together like early in the season he will be their most valuable trade piece. A seasoned vet goalie on league minimum salary is invaluable to teams terrified of running out of goalies in these playoffs.

Don’t forget having the least cap space in the league.

I have no worries about Levi’s size. He has dominated at the WJCs and College hockey. It won’t hinder him in the NHL and he isn’t even small. We aren’t talking about Darren Pang in 1980s Goalie equipment here.

Pavel Francouz of the Avs is a UFA after this season. He has always been good as a backup there 31 years old, hasn’t had a chance to start. He would be a guy to look at on a couple year deal to solidify the starter role while the kids develop and compete.

Yes, this has been mentioned many times by GMs and scouts. They look at the family to get an idea on both mental and physical makeup. If a kid is 5’6 and his parents are 5’2 and 5’5 then they have a good idea on growth. If a kid is 5’9 but his dad and brother are 6’2 then there is chance for growth. They look at frame and body types too. It is not a perfect strategy but I know they do lol at it for indicators.

When the “you’re a racist” card is brought out then no that is no longer a lively debate on a hockey forum.
