  1. Might as well package him with Dahlin before the entire house of cards comes crashing down!!😛
  2. Yeah the thing that slapped me in the face right a way when Ralph was fired and Granato took over was what an absolute breath of fresh air Don is when speaking. No ego, nothing about patting himself on the back. Everything is directed towards the team and everything he says is smart but simple. I still have nightmares of listening to Ralph tie himself up in knots trying to explain why none of it was his fault ever.
  3. Yeah Warren is a guy you are drafting to be a specific physical shutdown guy. You need puck movers in your top 4. With Jiricek I would like a better read on his hockey IQ. I don’t want to draft another Risto high. Haven’t seen Jiricek enough to know so will have to see what the draftniks say about that aspect of his game.
  4. He should be a 2nd rounder but I think a team like Arizona with two late firsts might reach. That was my first game watching him and my takeaway was that for such a large man he moves extremely well and he seems to know his game and plays within it. Reminds me of that Defensive tackle from Georgia, Davis. A large freakish guy with a specific skill set. Warren is 6’5, 220lbs. He will be able to outmuscle NHLers when he makes it. I liked Leneau’s game last night, he will be a first rounder for sure. Funny they both play for the same Gatineau team. Nelson was a bit hit or miss for me but the skill set is there for sure. This is a good year for a team looking to add RHDs to their system.
  5. I’m almost at the point of saying that Skinner Thompson Tuch has been a more consistently dangerous top line then Jack’s lines of past years and this isn’t about crapping on Jack. It just seems game in and game out they tilt the ice when they are on the ice regardless of opponents. The middle 6 needs to grow and needs to be deed to in order to help carry the load but it is encouraging to see this team coming together.
  6. Wright stood out among his peers tonight. Savoie has a lot of flash and skill Firkus was good but is tiny, like 150lbs Luneau and Nelson are rhd that can move the puck Noah Warren is an absolute animal of a human. My god he threw people around. He understands his strengths and plays to them. Reminds me of a bigger, right handed Mule. Some team will fall in love with him. Like late 1st or early 2nd. Team Red had Wright and Savoie but Team White just dominated most of the night.
  7. LOL if I told this board one year ago we would have a thread dedicated to how much will it take to lock up Tage Thompson long term people’s heads might have exploded.😁
  8. Bissonette embarrassed himself on the Sportsnet Trade Deadline show wearing his Leafs jersey and getting angry at fans for being down on Campbell and guaranteeing the Leafs win the first round regardless of who they play.
  9. If the Sabres won the lottery Shane Wright would be the pick. If the Sabres moved up to number 2 who would be the pick? Cooley? Slafkovsky? Nemec?
  10. This was posted on Sabres reddit: Since the start of the 2020 season, the Buffalo Sabres are 20-15-3 when their starting goalie plays (Ullmark / Anderson) and 17-52-12 when they don’t 2021-22: Craig Anderson 11-9 2021-22 rest: 11-24-8 2020-21: Linus Ullmark 9-6-3 2020-21 rest: 6-28-4 Can they please bring in a legitimate 1A goalie and get serious about winning next season.
  11. My thoughts are the Dolphins get it together before the Jets so send Hill to the Jets. Wow, this hurts the Chiefs and helps the Bills in the short term.
  12. They must like the Mule Bryson pair to stick with two lefties and make two righties on the 3rd pair. I thought Mule Bryson has been very good so glad to see they do too.
  13. Why would they trade Mitts? Kid is just coming back from a couple years of injury. You can see the skill there he just needs a healthy run. You would be selling low on him and then probably watch him Tage Thompson on another team and be on here crying that they gave him up.
  14. Yes you are right, sorry I misinterpreted what you guys were talking about. Any pick from 12-16 is a major win for Buffalo and adds even more to the deal. I really expected to be picking 27-32 with both Vegas and Florida’s picks.
  15. I think Peyton is learning that his ability to dominate juniors by throwing the puck where-ever he wanted and it working isn’t as easy in the NHL. He needs to learn to hold on to the puck, be more cerebral with it and make the simple play when the slick one isn’t there. It will come and once he puts on some more muscle his game should really take off.
  16. Not impossible. You can only move up 10 spots. So the 14th team could win and move up to 4th. It would still bump everyone down meaning Vegas would be 11th.
  17. A lot of dmen can screen their own goalie. It is the cross check to the goalie’s neck that earns him the 5 year $25 million extension.😛
  18. Bryson has tremendous hockey sense and elite wheels. His ability to break out of our zone is a huge asset. He battles for pucks as well. Every pair he plays on plays well (Dahlin-Bryson, Mule-Bryson) Not being 6’4, 215 doesn’t make you a bad dman.
  19. Yes! I forgot the top prospects game was tonight. Button’s list is usually an outlier because he does it based on what type of NHL career he thinks the player will have rather then where he sees the player currently. This year though none of the lists line up with each other so it will be fun to watch the CHL players tonight and see how they look.
  20. So Is Dadonov out too until his mess gets cleaned up? Dallas leading Edmonton 2-1 with 16 minutes left. If they win tonight they would be tied with Vegas but with 4 games in hand.
  21. It doesn’t matter because the Rangers are such a balanced, complete team....oh wait😃
  22. So Winnipeg is 4 points behind Vegas, has 2 games in hand and is playing Vegas tonight and they trade Copp yesterday. That is bush league.
  23. Yes it did. Never said who the third team was. The one team Eklund is actually plugged into is the Flyers. I read today Flyers decided against moving Jones because a couple of their prospect goalies are injured and they wanted a goalie back in return. I don’t understand the desire for a goalie whose last 4 years have been .896, .896, .896,.902 sv%
  24. People keep saying Husso but let’s remember the last time we signed a FA goalie from St. Louis who only had one good year.😛
