My two realistic hopes today were Comrie and Lybushkin. These are two low key signings that upgrade their biggest needs. Comrie had similar numbers to Husso but in a smaller sample size. Hope he works well.

With Philly I feel Fletcher knows they stink and a rebuild is needed but ownership is driving the bus that they need to compete right now or he is fired. They are banking on Gaudreau, deAngelo and Torts to lead them to the promise land.

As someone who has attended many Development Camps I can say the Final day scrimmages/mini tournaments are the day to go to. The first couple days are skating drills, small area skill drills and so on. The excitement wears off quickly. Adams is missing nothing if he is not there the first day. Adams isn’t doing all the work either. Karmanos, Ventura etc will all be involved. They will probably be multitasking anyways.

We have no idea what he will turn into. He is 18 in a position who come into their own at 27. All goalies these days have hip/knee issues. I can’t remember if it is Finland or Sweden, but they are putting rules in place where younger goalies coming up can only do certain drills for a couple minutes a practice in order to ease the pressure that is put on the hips and knees with this new style of goaltending.

The last two years he played on a very strong Caps team and his sv% was .902 last year and .896 this season. Word out of Washington is he has maturity and attitude issues. No thanks

Then sign Comrie. Almost the same seasons except Husso got more starts. They are both the same risk.

Milano is not a good hockey player. He is good for one or two fancy highlight plays a year but you never win with guys like that. Samsonov is not the answer either.
