I was at the show at MetLife and Mammoth WVH just blew me away. Honestly one of the best opening acts I have ever seen, even better than many "name" openers I've seen on loaded tours. Fun fact is that when they did the Van Hagar tour in the early/mid 2000's I saw them at the Meadowlands Arena and Wolfgang (who was like 14 at the time IIRC) came on stage and did a few songs with his dad.

Just something of a reality check: How many major markets don't already have a team and either have an NFL level stadium or can afford to build one? I really can't think of one. Austin? Is the team just going to play in the UT stadium (unlikely)? Why would Jones or Lanier allow a 3rd team in the state when the result would be shrinking their market share? Would an NFL team succeed in a town where UT is everything?

They are having trouble finding a trade partner because he has a bad rep as a petulant brat among many in the league. His actions just confirmed this and will result in this dragging out longer (which is the direct opposite of the desired effect).

If the hold up is retaining salary: If this drags on through the season and everyone on planet Earth KNOWS he must be dealt by July 1st 2022 teams will know they have us by the shorthairs and then teams will demand that we retain salary AND offer less than they are now. So we can retain salary now and get the deal we want or wait and STILL have to retain salary just to get a much worse deal.

My Brooksie story: After Pajama Boy Night he wrote a ***** hit piece on the Islanders fans that managed to get ever detail wrong. A friend of mine who was a longtime usher at the Coliseum wrote him a letter politely explaining the situation and all the things he got wrong in the article. Brooks replied thanking him for the insight and then essentially repeated all the bullcrap in the first article the next day.

If the goal of an organization is to lose, if losing is the standard, if losing is acceptable then you will do nothing but lose. That's not meant as some brilliant insight, it's just common sense.
