I'm just going to point out that everyone was denying E****l had demanded out until the man himself went public with it. This statement is completely worthless because teams deny things that end up being true all the time.

Guy gets the puck in front of the net 3/4 between it and the blue line. No defender bothers to close in on the guy and he is able to skate in and take a clear unobstructed shot.

Why is this team so comically awful defensively? This is like watching that Doug Weight Islanders team that averaged conceding 40+ shots per game. I know they've cycled through tons of guys but this in no way acceptable for AHL level.

In the early 90's the Pat Riley Knicks perfected a brand of basketball that was closer to an MMA bout that unless you were a Knicks fan was almost impossible to watch. OK so I just Googled Doug Jemal and can safely say that anyone who thinks he would be allowed to buy the Sabres is out of their goddamned mind. The only issue I have with this is that Jack himself told them "I want out" before the neck injury. If he hadn't done that I'd be far more sympathetic to him.

Everyone knows the secret to success in the NHL is to constantly get rid of your few NHL quality players for draft picks.
