Reading the Herald this AM. So Hamilton was going to get an offer sheet from Edmonton in the 5.5-6.0M range. The Bruins were low balling him at 3.5M. So they opted for the trade.

The Boston fans had a helluva day yesterday too. I wonder what the reaction on their fan boards and newspapers are today? Picking three straight times in the middle of the round must have seem like a fans dream. That on top of all the trades they did with the prospect that they had to be moving up. Then the early picks are swallowed up and they start their gauntlet of three picks.. And then the Jakub, Jake and Zachary picks happen. That had to seem surreal to them. Gone Lucic, Hamilton and Soderberg. In with a goal that is not needed. Crazy.. Tank on...
