By happenstance I am in Boston today. The local news is really balanced on their coverage.

De-face gate

37 years ago I saw Boston in the Aud. On Friday I'm taking my son to see them. Turns out he really likes them.

The whole forum.. There is a great cross section of ages, personalities and belief structures. Unfortunately, it isn't balanced M/F though.

That's how CNN Headline News started out. And then they went and broke it. The problem is the party out of power won't let them cut the "waste, fraud, bloat and abuse". The party in power won't either. Every President comes in claiming they will tame Congress. The only one who had a modicum of success was Clinton because he had temporary use of the line item veto.

I watched her. She was pretty certain Hillary lied about Benghazi, emails and home server, Adamant that she lied. My guess is if she ever made it to the same stage with Hillary, with the Presidency on the line, she would moderate that language. Her handlers won't allow her to go "all Trump" on Hillary FTF.

I genuinely believe he wants to be President. I genuinely believe he has no chance to be President. I genuinely believe he doesn't care what I believe.

My guess is when PK is in the house, he is the focus of everyone's attention.

NHL.com had a link to a Kane story this AM. It was a 10m radio interview with Tim Graham where he discussed the goings on. Reasonably informative. He kept saying the news media knows more but they are still fact checking. AND NOW ITS GONE FROM THE SITE. Probably because he said rumors were afloat that PK was going to surrender by days end to Hamburg PD.. Not sure now if it was recorded yesterday or today. My sense was it was yesterday though. And if it was yesterday, then the surrender bit was wrong.

I got pulled into my first and only jury trial a couple of years ago. I loved every moment of it. And yet, it was extremely maddening as pretrial agreements between the lawyers and judge denuded the prosecution's case. I got the judge so pissed off at me because I kept asking/insisting we be shown other evidence that was deliberately and obviously held out of the case as presented to us. He actually threatened me to shut up or else. I had him so piqued that he was turning red in the face. I could see the prosecuting lawyer smiling as I was grilling the judge over the missing information. I so envy Arizona where jurors can asked questions.

Debate thoughts: Trump just might be fireproof. He said things on that stage last night no other candidate would dare say. He was a bully with most of his answers. He apparently flat out lied about meeting the border patrol and admitted to being very disparaging to women. And yet today, the reaction is that is Trump being Trump. Romney got skewered a few years ago over a comment about "binders full of women". Trump last night acknowledged calling women pigs, slobs, dogs etc. He was so irreverent to the process, he stood out against everyone else and made them insignificant. I loved his smack down with Paul as an example. I also loved how he told everyone he bought Politicians and expected things in return like making Hillary come to his wedding. Eventually he will flame out. And then he will run as an independent because he is an unabashed narcissist. I'll bet the eventual nominees can't wait to have him off the stage as their voices won't be remembered next to his. I personally hope he sticks around for a few more of these. He turned a stale, meaningless event into a conversation piece the next day.
