I don't know what to make of this year's draft. They have some holes on the line that they did not fill. They were reasonably quiet in free agency. The pundits didn't outright pan them with most giving them around a C. I don't think an average draft is what this team can afford. We shall see. I think they should throw Manuel out there from the get go. I'd watch. The prospect of watching Kevin Kolb is about as exciting to me as putting cucumbers on a salad.

I haven't tried the Doritos flavored taco and I probably won't. Taco hell isn't a normal stop now. I remember eating Mighty Taco on my graduation night from High School. I left the area and always wanted to try them again. About 30 years later I finally did and I was profoundly and utterly disappointed. The memory trumped the reality. I won't eat there again.

I'm happy with the pick. I immediately discount rumors of other teams wanting someone. It is all subterfuge. Every teams practices disinformation to keep the lid on their guy. Look at the Bills, everyone was saying Nassib but Manuel was their no'see'um guy.

Ten takes G, Warmack Still no QBs with SD, OAK, Jets next SD take T, Fluker Will OAK take Smith? Nope. OAK takes CB, Hayden Jets takes DT, Richardson

Maybe I'm in the minority, but the LF I remember reading would agitate me with his columns. Probably because he told a vision/perception of the Bills I wasn't buying into. Time claims everyone.

So those two points bring me closer to my preseason prognostications: Here they were: Prognostications: 1, Kaleta will break his hand grabbing a puck out of mid air .. Yep .. Waited almost the whole season, but old habits die hard and he couldn't resist. 2. Grigs will be sent down at some point in this season. .. Yep 3. Hechts will bounce around from line to line with no permanent home. .. Yep 4. The line of Ennis, Stafford and Foligno will not make it through 15 games before being broken up. .. Yep 5. Miller will have a GAA around 2.10. .. Nope, not even close as he is at 2.87 now 6. Enroth will get eight games .. Nope. he made it into 12 games 7. Ott will be a fan favorite and will lead the team in PIMS edging out Kaleta .. Yep .. Although PIMS wasn't as close as I predicted 8. Scott will not fight a single Bruin .. Nope.. Fought in the second game if I recall correctly. 9. Sabres will stumble out the gate and have a losing record after the first ten. Yep .. They will get better as the season goes on and will be chasing a 7-8 spot. Yep.. Although getting better as the season wore didn't really happen. 10. Sabres will finish with 49 points. Yep .. Two more points on Friday and they finish with 48. I'm taking credit for this as I was close.
