I was only denied entrance to Canada one time. We were teenagers going to Crystal Beach. The agent asked if we all had shirts, and crazily enough some kids didn't. They turned us around and told us we couldn't go. They were just being pricks. Never ever ever heard of such a requirement.

A few thoughts. Hate, hate , hate Boston, but definitely admire them today. Only Houdini could escape that fate last night. This might go down as the biggest dissappointment in Toronto history. Can you imagine what the Leafs boards are saying? Could you imagine if the Sabres had done that? That Boston team is built for a run. Boston-Chicago is the series I want to see.

If the GM knew he was stepping down, he should have let the next guy hire the coach. Now you are going to have a new GM with a coach not of his choosing and a draft class not of his picking. All I'm saying is if this was part of the master plan, he should have let the next guy buy the groceries for the sake of everyone (GM, Coaches, players, fans) involved. I for one am happy Buddy is gone. I just think the timing is awkward. Edit: So I just read that Whaley, the Asst GM may be the heir apparent. As long as he loves Marrone, I guess I don't have a problem with this. If Marrone isn't his guy from day one, then I do.

Haven't watched much playoff hockey.. Lacking motivation I guess. Just looked at the series and have to say I'm shocked at the Pens-Isles results. They don't belong on the same sheet of ice together. I predicted a quick series for the Pens. Would love to see the Isles knock them off and give Washington trhe home ice advantage (assuming the Habs continue their descent into off chaos).
