    Saw something in the STL-DET game that I have never seen before. Pietrangelo lost a blade on one of his skates making him a one-legged skater. It happened in the neutral zone. As he was hopping/hobbling to the bench, Detroit essentially had the man advantage and pressed the attack in the STL zone. The ref, helped push Pietrangelo off the ice allowing the Blues to change a player. Is that level of interference by a ref on behalf of one team allowed?

    I think I read today that Buffalo only has about 8.5 million left after the rooks get signed. Not sure how much cash it would take to sign him, but I would think Buffalo would need to free up some coin.

    That only works if you believe they will finish DFL. I do not.

    I have not embraced the tank because I believe to my inner core that it will not succeed. They finished DFL last year and picked 2nd. Didn't work last year, why should it work this year? A measly 20% shot is too slim in my eyes to bet the franchise's future on. With each passing day, the level of agony with this team goes up. Whether you agree with playing for last now or not is irrelevant. We are pot committed. Course correction is impossible. They now give meaning to the agony of winning. How is that remotely possible? In all my years of being a fan of Buffalo I have never seen something some divisive, so insidious among the fan base as this.

    I would go along with this except they have two games head to head left. That could separate them by a single point. That is razor thin. If they split those games, I will feel 'more' comfortable.
