  1. Exactly. I keep asking, where is the GM, where is ownership? I don't expect a public fist pounding on the table moment, but as a fan I do expect a publicly in person expressed statement that says this current situation is unacceptable and we will address it immediately. But then, that should have been done years ago.
  2. No, your not the only one. A portion of this fiasco is happening on his watch, he has culpability.
  3. I tend to agree.
  4. I have been a life long audio, video and in person scout of the Sabres, when combined with my 15 years honing my GM Skills, trained exclusively by Microsoft and Sony's top notch NHL GM Simulator, I anxiously await the call from the Pegula's. ๐Ÿ˜„
  5. Actually, I believe Adams is speaking, by sending Ralph in front of the camera's post game after post game to insert his foot in his mouth.
  6. With each passing game, I become much more aligned with the idea of moving the major pieces. Eichel, Reinhart, Risto, yea, I'm there. And not for draft picks. All 3 would have to be for NHL players. Hall, Staal and Montour can go at the deadline. And for God's sake, jettison Krueger. I cannot believe the Pegula's are going to let this ***** show continue. It's down right ***** embarrassing.
  7. Hey all, so, how bad was the damage? Had school so missed it.
  8. Appreciate the response John. Candid conversations between the media, the analytic and the eye test fans is a welcomed atmosphere. As always I remain hopeful other media representation, both local as well as league (yes, I'd like The Athletic and TSN accounts on here to mingle with the Sabres fan base from time to time) find their way to this community. Wishful thinking? If you could pass the word that would be wonderful, and of course, the commentors would have to behave (except PA, there is no stopping a crusader ๐Ÿ™‚ ). And a big thank you to SDS for creating the space for us to get together and speak.
  9. claim Guhle off of waivers and offer Montour and Guhle as a taxi squad ready D pair, for a reasonable 2nd and 3rd in the 22 draft price of course ๐Ÿ™‚
  10. And as your self appointed agent, I concur you will come cheap, the Pegula's can then pay my meager half a million dollar fee. Thanks for caring enough about the team ๐Ÿ˜‰
  11. I like your style North. Right in my wheel house.
  12. We should claim him and immediately partner him with Montour. The circle of life will then be complete.
  13. Just keep on reporting John. It is what it is. On that note, what exactly are we looking at here, if your somewhat aware that is? Are we looking at an experienced hockey operations individual as an avenue to attempt to right the ship?
  14. So, are they looking for a minority partner type deal? If so, how much can we scrape together as a group Sabrespace? I can throw in 10k.
  15. One person, one voice, has the answer to all our Jack Eichel questions.
  16. "This team needs a players only meeting, everyone in to the room, except you Dylan, we can't afford any more injuries. The rest of you, grab your juice boxes and binky's and get in here".....
  17. There would be a host of questions. Jack Eichel's future with the organization. Short and long range plan in place to deal with salary cap issues. Is there an expansion draft plan in place. Coach Krueger's future with the organization. Have players or players agents cone forth with emphasizing wanting out. Is there talks ongoing about netminder upgrades, and if so, is there a projected time table to address. Reinhart extension is up this off season, where is the relationship between the organization and Reinhart, is he willing to stay. What is the organization's plan with Dahlin both his regressed play and contract. And the list of questions goes on. He may not answer them, but there are a bountiful, nah, a plethora of questions to be asked.
  18. You are aware multiple sports reporter's have been asking our GM for interview time with no response.
  19. Could also be correct.
  20. I do wonder if those going to that first game are just going to walk in, grab their cardboard cutout, and walkout, apologizing profusely to their cardboard cutout all the way home for putting them there.
  21. Still not a word from the GM or ownership. From all appearances I am heavily suspecting there is utter and complete chaos reigning behind closed doors. I cannot imagine any of this is acceptable at any level. I believe multiple roster players will be on their way out the door between the deadline and off season, this cannot continue. It is just brutal torture of the Sabres fan base.
  22. This is true. I don't believe many want Eichel traded, I do believe many are expecting it based on all that has happened in these past years. If the kid wants out, no one here should be surprised or really upset about it. After all, if many of us were miserable at our job every day, we wouldn't hesitate to go somewhere else to work.
  23. Well, in the meantime, I am watching what is most likely Eichel's last season as a Sabres. I don't think Reinhart is going to want to be here either. I believe we are going to be looking at another rebuild of some type. Sadly, the incompetence of ownership via it's management hirings over these past 8 years at least have effectively brought the tear down and rebuild from the ground up strategy a complete and utter failure. I feel for this fan base, and I'm a born and bred one of us, but this is a tragedy for the Sabres faithful that gets even worse as their appears to be no end to the madness that brought us here. Just a complete sad state of affairs for the hockey franchise.
