  1. No, your not, I concur. The Bills did not execute, weather or no weather, both on the field as well as some coaching. I suspect corrections will be made and the season will continue on. The injuries in the defensive backfield is concerning however.
  2. In beautiful Gatlinburg, TN. Watched the game with well over 200 Titans die hards at 3 Jimmy's. While they weren't happy with what the Bills did to their team last Monday night, to a fan they all said the Bills got hosed in this Miami game. Specifically the officiating and the lack of shade on the Bills side of the field putting players health at actual physical high risk. Take aways from this game..... The Dolphins aren't a power house, but they can beat any team given the opportunity, definitely an AFC contender. Leading with the helmet hit on Knox was one of a few calls suspect by the refs. I counted 4 times throughout the game where Josh could have run for stick moving plays, but chose other options that were not as productive. They need to stop going to the pass inside the 5, run the dam ball in. This was a very winnable game, Miami didn't win it, multiple mis-steps, bad play calls and over all poor execution saw the Bills hand this game to Miami.
  3. Tough game tomorrow given the depletion of our secondary. I expect a very close game. I'll be in Gatlinburg TN, we're due to check in to our cabin at 4pm, which means trying to find a place where we can watch the game around the area.
  4. SSolid butt kicking, they deserved it. Was reading a few of the titans forums while game was ongoing, send mental health experts, the meltdowns are real.
  5. Rest In Peace Elizabeth
  6. This...... This right here...... Thank You....... Now, let's get busy gettin' to it..... LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Should be another fun season. Glad competitive football with some winning has returned to Buffalo. Let's enjoy the ride.
  8. Hopefully the beginning of 35 to 40 goal line 1 or better yet, line 2 scorer for the next 7 years
  9. 1 of the players who played like they gave a *****..... Good player, lots of heart.... Good signing, we'll done Kyven, we'll done
  10. Teletubby fans around the world are Sabres fans again....
  11. After reading subsequent posts from this one, smart move by both the Sabres and Kane camp.
  12. After watching what Granato did 2nd half of the season with the on ice roster, combined with Adam's utilizing Granato's development skills while implementing a "build from within" policy, I'm inclined to agree somewhat. 10, 20 years though? 5 to 8, sure, if things go well that is.
  13. Agree. Also, the report that Patrick Kane is going to wait to see how the season plays out, if true, is a very good sign for the Sabres. If Kane would like to come home and play, which, I'd suspect he does, given he knows WNY is a great place to raise a family, he may be waiting to see just how far along this young group, which really did come together well in the 2nd half of last season, has progressed. One can at least hope that's the case. And I'm hopeful.
  14. On a goalie related side note, but team in general as well.... I think some fans are overlooking the 2nd half play of the team last season, maybe writing it off or just not acknowledging it for what Granato and staff and KA see it as. I think they'll trade for a net minder. Be patient. This season will undoubtedly be another learning curve season. But with the maturity and a piece here, a piece there, I can see this team battling for a playoff spot.....
  15. Meh, sure, why not, as long as he's in the A, no issue with it.
  16. I still say wait until next off season, you give up no assets and the first wave of the new youth in Buffalo are 1 year further along in their NHL experience gained. It also allows the team the time to address further roster tweaking. Give nothing to acquire Kane now, wait the year.
  17. The next Danny Briere? One can hope....
  18. @woods-racer Now you can say it's the 7th OA, but, not for 13 mil, for the 16th OA and whatever the amount left over from the retained. In this case, yes, Matt fired the bullet, we didn't dodge it.
  19. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Thompson on the birth of your baby. Best wishes, it's a great day for your family.
  20. This question requires the team bring back the "Derek Roy Test".... Let's not re-live those days.
  21. Meat on the bones? "He dabbled in some discussion....." I'd say Ottawa isn't giving up the 7th OA to drop Murray. But even still, the early reports concerning Buffalo were "an additional asset", that could be anything. It could be a new garden hose for Terry so he can "de-link" anything linking to the Sabres.
  22. I didn't see anything about the 7th. I read "an additional asset".
  23. Dodged a bullet here, thank you Matt. And Kevyn......what in tarnation are you doing?
