Tage Thompson is a problem. No ifs ands or buts about it, his lack luster play for the money he's being paid is well below Eichels or many others.

We will get there. Every game the kids grow. Every practice the kids grow. The team is growing together, they are young, the youngest team in the league, but they will grow.

Florida's roster weight is a bit much, but the kids will grow in to beasts themselves. Right now, they've weathered the storm and are showing some real spirit and moxy.

That line of Cozens, Krebs, Perteka is going to be something special I suspect. I watched the game over again yesterday, I was looking to see if my eyes and mind had played tricks on me after watching the game live. That first period, they were completely engaged in all facets of the game. Krebs needs some additional weight if he's going to continue to use his body in the corners and along the walls the way he tries to, but other than that, there is 0 doubt in my mind they have some real chemistry between the 3 of them. Hence, from this point on, I am calling them "The Coneheads Line".

Matinee game, I no like. Florida is a strong opponent, should be a good test.

Dude, I'm 51 yrs old, 230 lbs, 5'11", I am in a harness climbing steel at 7:05AM to 5:20PM, Monday through Friday. The way I have to bend, swivel, contort my body as I climb over, in and around pipe racks, electrical conduits and trays, all while slinging weight via tools and materials..... 41 is not the be all end all of body ability and/or endurance. Especially for those that put the practice of body flexibility to work every day.

1st place in the division?

Krebs

In honor of Herb Brooks I am hence forth calling the cozens, Peterman, Krebs line the coneheads line....

I was impressed in both the 1st and 2nd period with this Cozens, Peterka, Krebs line. I realize it's only the 1st game of the season, but I'm starting to entertain the idea of that line becoming something truly special here in Buffalo.

Sabres puck control and movement is continuously getting stronger as the game goes on.
