First thing I noticed when I came on the main page the normal headline "came out slow, sluggish start" Why 3/4 of the way through Housley's 2nd season are we still struggling with our start to games and like at Toronto on Monday night we seem to switch off. Just not good enough and that is on Housley for me, should have the players prepared for every minute for every game. Those who don't put in the effort should sit, end off.

Well all in all a pretty uninspiring homestead with two sore defeats in there to Blackhawks and rangers. Wonder what Botts is thinking now leading up to the deadline. Still think he will remain patient until the draft and free agency but part of me wants him to be busy at the deadline. Just gutted after tonight.

Yeah I agree. An improvement on last year then another move forward next season. No team playing Elie in there line up is making a hard push for a play off spot. But let's get pilut back in and not sit him again before the end of the season and also get Smith back up and play him anywhere other than the 4th line. Also get nylander recalled before the season end.

What's the thoughts on what we might get for him?

It is gutting that we are now out of a play off spot but if we had gathered the points over the season so far rather than the ten game streak most would be happy with where we are at the moment. I am also beginning to have doubts also with housley. Just don't think he knows how to get the best out of his players. For a start Casey would be on the wing for the remainder of the season for me. Elie would be waived. Pommer in the press box and CJ Smith taking his place.

How would we have been feeling about this team right now if we are in the same position and same points but had gained the extra points over the season so far rather than the ten game streak. I reckon most would be happy and we did get lucky on that streak. I am hoping we do make the playoffs but I also believe in what botts is doing and don't see him changing anything any time soon.

I would bring nylander up. Felt he should have been on the roster from the start of the season. But my feeling now is Botts will see out the season with what we have and make changes again in the summer.

I hope so. The others have to step up. They done it last season when jack was injured.

Do we try Mitts on the wing with Sam at center?? Would also call up Nylander and smith and sit Sobokta and waive Elie

I agree, CJ Smith has also earned an opportunity. Nylander done fine in the games he played at the end of last season.
