I agree with you , I was just trying to make a point where the poster said that 'going all in' starts the clock too. That's part of the job, I think Adams has earned some trust and time, but I don't think it's wise to count on college players to jump to the NHL and guide the team to the playoffs. We need a 2 - 3 year bridge to the young kids.

Something really good brewing with this team. I was all gloom and doom at the start of the season, but I'm totally on board now. They're a fun team to watch, some great young talent on the team, and some real exciting players ready to make the jump next season. I take back most of what I said this past offseason. Still work to do, but reason to be very excited for next season. I forgot how great hockey is to watch when it's played with passion and skill. What's really great is that they are focusing on scoring goals, not winning boring games. Just the style fans love to see.

I'd be thrilled with getting another high pick. The thread is not about the draft pick, it's about Eichel possibly missing the playoffs again. Just like the Sabres.

Canadians love players that were in the world juniors. They are heroes for life after winning a gold. They should know Quinn, but Peterkas isn't really a big story yet.

Yes he was being a prick, I know he should be above the pettiness and personal attacks from the fans, but I'm guessing after not being able to have surgery he wanted, crapped on by fans after working his butt off here, he probably didn't give a crap and said what he said. It's funny, it was obviously a low blow to go after the Sabres crappy attendance this season, but listen to what people had said and are currently saying about Eichel. If you think what he said was bad, what's being said about him was way worse and much of this was all said before yesterday's game.

With our luck, Vegas misses the playoffs, but moves way up in the lottery, moving our pick to next season.

So our goalies would be good enough if they just stayed healthy? Come on. No team wanted any of these goalies on their roster, just us. UPL is the only one that may have made in impact, but even that was asking a lot.

It's the GM's job to field a quality roster , it's the coaches job to get the maximum production from that roster. We still need Adams to get the roster fixed before we look at the coach. We all knew this team couldn't win with our goaltending, no surprise there.
