I wouldn't be so sure about that. In my mind, this is the best, most exciting hockey tournament each year. For the players, it's the equivalent of the Olympics. This is likely as much for the experience as anything else.

also had our best success under him , Quinn and Regier and those people aren't usually thought of in good terms.

I hope to see Power and Quinn play a fair amount of games with the big club.

Gonna be interesting in a couple weeks, as it looks like Eichel is getting ready to start contact during practice. DeBoer says the Eichel has been the best player on the ice during practice. I think he's just gonna dominate with Vegas.

How are Stamkos and Tage comparable? Stamkos had 50 goals in his 2nd season, will be first ballot hall of famer. I like Tage but there is no comparison.

Wonder if Edmonton would do McDavid for Cozens straight up?

I met Terbenche's son at work last year. He's a sales rep and I noticed his name on some emails. Asked him if Paul was his father. He came in the next day with some hockey cards and other stuff. Had a real nice talk about the early days of the Sabres. I brought in my own Terbenche card. Was pretty cool.

I have no issue with being positive about the play of UPL, my whole issue is the ' hard working' praise. It's unnecessary. But we are still losing the vast majority of our games and we have the 5 fewest points in the league.

Most teams(all teams) are expected and in fact do work hard, this is no special accomplishment. They gave up 40 shots, it was goaltending, hard work or not, that kept them in this game. Let's not be happy that the team works hard, that should be a given.
