RK may not be"the problem " but he's a significant one.

KA has to get busy. Goalkeeper upgrade or this season is assured to be another disaster.

Agree with the feeling of not trading your best player and one of the best in the league. Realistically Eichel probably determines that. If things don't change significantly before the MMC kicks in it may come down to a trade. First, is Eichel sold on RK? Second can KA make a few more moves to get this team into competition. Has to happen by this time next year or I'm afraid the player will make the decision for us.

Couldn't that be said for the entire team. Come on he's the one possible player that may be able to get us a five on five goal at this point. Further more isn't coaching to get the best out of your players? If so this team as a whole looks pretty underachieving.

Instigators talking about our five on five non scoring. Question why VO is top six and Skinner buried on bottom six. VO is a special team specialist not a top six guy. Switch Skinner and VO roles? Absolutely VO is not a scorer five on five. Skinner could be. Again this is coach u fortunately.

Rivet? Really!

I'm not sold on RK but I'm also not ready to add another ex Sabre coach to the scrap heap in season. Give it at least this season then if it's like last season we'll talk.

Contender? No. Playoff calibre? Half the teams are so if we can't be a playoff team then there are a boatload of overrated players on this squad. Two reasons only bad coaching or bad player evaluation. Take your pick either way it's where the buck stops........Ownership!

Problem may be no one of high success with proven record wants the job at this point. Don't know but this organization may have developed a bit of a bad reputation at this point ten years into this ownership.

Babcock and Rutherford may be wrong examples but the argument is valid. Pegulas have been a disaster and it's primarily in their hires. Not sure if they made a few and now just want people they like and can control. It's almost unbelievable that you can make so many hiring mistakes. The best coach and GM team he's had he inherited.

I had to go with Rivet, second take your pick of any except Marty and possibly Duff.

Biron, whether I agree or not, at least I like. Rivet? Total waste and acts like his simple jock talk is profound. Peters the opposite of Rivet for me. Didn't care for him as a player but kind of like him on the Instigators. Like Rivet as a player... can't stand him on the Instigators.

Ok, let me get this straight. RK says the problem is mental. The Instigators talking sports psychology and fans don't understand it. Wait ten years of mental issues? That's the problem. Okay, guess as a fan I just don't understand.

He's still very young. Yes, he hasn't played well this season. Well, join the club! This whole team with maybe an exception is in his company. I still believe he has superior talent. Much more concerned with how he's coached as time goes on. That's true for the team as well.

I know the owners maybe saved the franchise for Buffalo although Golisano had a lot to do with that. Also, the reason for not having a president of hockey ops? The owner. He opted not to. I personally think the Pegulas check most every box with the exception of hiring people who will work well with them but firmly still in charge as opposed to hiring someone qualified to run the team and stepping aside to allow them to make hockey decisions. The Pegulas are better fans than they are at running a hockey team in my opinion.

This, again, starts at the top down. Not at players up. Not giving players a pass but must be fixed top down.
