Get used to it. This is a money machine as are most sports. My brother actually no longer watches football because of all the ads. He just got fed up with them. Hockey if it goes the way of the NFL I just may stop watching altogether. I only watch the Sabres as is.

Agree wth much of this but I'm not happy to bury one of my better goal scorers and 9/M a year contract on a third or fourth line on this team. I don't like it and hate that contract but it is what it is.

Having said that players get shifted around during a game so set lines aren't really all that set to begin with.

Rivet was a very good hockey player but frankly I don't like him on the Instigators. He makes the most simple statement sound so profound and is a total homer in most cases. I like Marty,Rob and Peters much better than Rivet. JMO.

I do like Krueger. If there's a problem with Skinner, and I hope there's not, it's the player not the coach in my opinion.

With the condensed schedule Mitts and co. will get playing time I think. Although I have doubts about Mitt's mentality to make it in this league. He's still very young so there's hope.

We're off to a great start on here. We're talking like they've lost ten straight already. They will have it tough in our division for sure but I think the moves they've made have improved the team. I worry still about our goal tending but other than that I like the moves they made.

Hope you're right on Skinner. With that albatross of a contract we're stuck. Hopefully him and RK are not at odds and Skinner is motivated. Guaranteed contracts you better be right because they become an anchor if not.

We need to keep in mind it's an entertainment business. A little hockey with heavy doses of entertainment. You think Cherry has made it on his hockey knowledge? The more you stir things the more successful in that industry.

Agree. It was an incredible catch. Still on the defense I think we played soft allowing for that play. I am seeing this league wide though so is it defenses or has the league gone to a passing league more than the run and that's the reason we now see thirty points pretty common?

With the Covid crisis only getting worst what happens to all these one year contracts if there is no season?

I want to as well. On paper we're the better team but two things worry me . The effect of the weather on us offensively and Belichik out coaching us. Like it or not he's a hall of fame coach and he can game plan better than any coach in the league.

I do think if they give Hall a long term deal that it may mean VO or Reinhart get moved. Don't need to be hasty with decisions like that. Let's see how this year goes. For the record I hope Reinhart is here.
