I had to put my 15 year old Australian Shepherd to sleep today. This is the 3rd dog I've had to say goodbye to. It doesn't get any easier. She was probably the best dog I ever had. Amazing how they become a part of the family.

+1 Couldn't agree more If there was one guy that DDB crippled it was Bogosian IMO, You may be right on with this one

He was either awesome or terrible to me. One of the best Live shows I've seen after Lets Dance album AND One of the worst and most disappointing shows I've ever seen (was on stage for maybe 30-40 minutes, fans boo'd him for almost as long as he was on stage) and that includes a drunken mess Joe Cocker show I seen around 72'-73' Now I understand all the IGNORE comments made to you........ :w00t:
-
l like your take on Who's Next, couldn't agree more but then when I go back to it after awhile, I remember why it was so good. Keith Moon greatest drummer ever. They were amazing live. The Doors are also on this list of great bands that I need to take a break from occasionally to like them again. This isn't for you Josie...... Don't like the Beatles..... ok Don't listen to the Beatles....... ok Beatles are a BOYS BAND.............. OMFG are you insane, do you have no shame trolling like this??? SRV is my favorite guitarist (died way too soon) followed closely by Eric Clapton I like the occasional Pink Floyd but 10-15 minutes at a time, 2 albums back to back I go to OVERRATED. Metal??? I'd rather listen to fingernails on a blackboard. Van Morrison, the most underrated artist of all time.

I'm sure he'll be a lot more polished and spit shined than TM was but I'm going to miss his interviews. I don't think we'll get any real information from the new guy but I wish him nothing but the best, GO SABRES

2017-18 lineup prediction (the Original Lineup Thread)
jsb replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
I'm not sure that's next years lineup, I'm more for stacking the top 2 lines ROR-Jack-Baptiste Kane-Reinhart-Okposo Foligno-Larsson-Fasching (who you can't get rid of between Moulson/Ennis) Girgensons-Bailey/Gionta The D has to have 3 guys blown up ???-Risto Jake-Zach Guhle-??? -
I have to admit I don't understand why anyone would use the ignore button, it's like taking an ingredient like garlic and removing it from the spaghetti sauce. It just doesn't taste the same. And once in awhile you lose the meaning of someone else's post because you missed the reasoning behind it. It's best just to skim the posts of the guys who drone on and on for a particular subject especially the always negative takes from Wil***** and read on. Selectively ignore not totally.

That doesn't surprise me at all, this franchise isn't bare of talent just badly mismanaged. Another high pick, owner who'll spend, hockey town. Nothing to dislike here. I have my hopes up for Housley as coach though, GM with hockey sense and someone that's has some vision as to where the league is going and won't be afraid to play the kids on anything but a 4th line.
-
Speaking of such..... My time in purgatory is up isn't it???
-
I would like them to raid the Predators Paul Fenton as GM and Phil Housley as HC Fenton gm's their AHL affiliate and is assistant GM in Nashville Housley IMO fixes the D almost immediately
-
OMG, you and the rest of the Crusaders get their wish and you're still moaning and groaning. Not 100% sure this is a good move or not but no doubt we're on to a new course, hopefully Pegs gets it right this time
-
Dude you need to settle down before you stroke out!!!! My goodness, maybe take a laxative and see if that helps. :w00t: :w00t: DDB will go eventually, they all do. If the locker room is cracking up like it appears, it won't be long. Right now while I'm trying to read between the lines of some of the most outspoken players, GMTM is going to have to try and pull things together of get rid of some and I'm not sure anyone outside the locker room knows who's going to go or what the real issues are. But it's interesting how they've gone from one of the best locker rooms to this in one year.

I can agree to this but according to the Thread, Samson or Kane is getting traded, erase Kaner from your post if Samson is your 3rd C. You now have 1 expensive winger to split between 4 lines.
-
Again I disagree by saying when ROR is at his best he is dominating play, when Jack is playing well he is dominating play, please give me a game not when Sam played well but when he Dominated Play. I can't think of one, he's not that type of player.
-
Problem with that is what scoring wingers do you put in??? Besides Okposo and Kane, we don't have any and if you trade Kane for a Dman you just dropped that total in half. Your scenario sounds great in EA Sports but in reality there is no-one on our roster that isn't old and/or hasn't proven anything at this level yet, that you can depend on to put up points.
-
Before you trade Sam, you would have to sign Kane to an extension. Trading Kane you'd probably have to add to the package to get someone to take on the antics. Trading Sam, you could possibly add Bogosian or another salary to balance out taking on someone else's salary. I'm not sure why anyone who has watched Samson actually struggle on the boards, not directly control the action with his play, be defensively irresponsible and not add speed to the mix would even think about playing him over ROR and Eichel on your first 2 lines at center.
-
I was wrong about the Tank, missing out on Ekblad and McDavid has hurt our bounce back I was wrong about Bylsma, I don't think the Dmen are as bad as they've looked they just aren't playing the role they're best suited for Bogosian isn't worth his money, ROR isn't worth his I was wrong that we'd be a playoff threat this year I was wrong in thinking Boston would sink I was wrong in thinking the Ducks would trade 1 or 2 of their Dmen I was right about Kane I was right that Reinhart wasn't worth the tank year and that he's too slow and too defensively irresponsible to be a Centerman I was right about Okposo, get well soon dude I was also wrong to make a stupid avatar bet thinking the worst thing that could happen was I'd get D4rk's girlfriend to make me an awesome one instead of the one I'm stuck with for another week. But on second thought that does kind of look like me a long time ago.
-
Just to be clear it's called the McKinley Curse in sports circles. Hope he's a ok, he seems like a good guy.

Prediction Time: Will Dan Bylsma be fired this offseason?
jsb replied to TrueBlueGED's topic in The Aud Club
I voted yes...... There seems to be a disconnect between the veteran players and the young guns Next guy is going to be a Drill Sargent type to get Reinhart and Eichel in line I like how it makes me feel when I disagree with TrueBlue and WildCard -
BYLSMA RELIEVED OF DUTIES; TERRY MURRAY INTERIM COACH!!!!!
jsb replied to Eleven's topic in The Aud Club
Dude you are FREAKING AWESOME!!!! -
SmarmD, you are fighting the good fight but with D4rksabre, TrueBlueGED, WildCard and Taro T you are up against the.... They will never give up their quest.
