Making him the highest scoring center with so many different wingers this year and since the post Gretzky era. Almost all the other (except 1 or 2) of this years highest scoring centers had the same line mates. No one else came close to Dan's complete miss use of someone of that caliper.

I hate CryCrosby. That SOB completely whiffed on the game tying goal letting the laughs into the playoffs. The laughs are in because a *generational* talent was unlucky, and not because they are good. Even worse is... No matter who the laughs play in the first 2 rounds they have a chance to win because the opposition is the best of the worst and winnable games for a sucky team.

If the Sabres win the lottery I'm hoping they sell the No. 1 pick to a team in the 5th-8th spot with a throw in of a D-prospect that GMTM finds to be very promising. The net result being this years highest D-man picked in the draft and a prospect that is a bit more seasoned.

First time in many years I have not gone to a home Sabres game. The only *protest* I have to this team's coach is not to go to a game. If it where for any other reason that you where selling your tickets I would PM you at some point next year. But, if Dan is still the coach my boycott will continue. I'm still making a game this year. In Tampa.

Whole heartily agree. But there is a lot of back story as to why it was so great. Thornton is the leagues leading douche. The Miller incident. The soft core. John is a love-able big guy. We got nothing else to hang our hat on during this era (we haven't been good in a while, but hell, at least we're tough!). A big hit and a fight where the pinnacles of that week's Sabre performance during our John Scott days. He had the greatest week of them all... Unless Matt Ellis scoring tripped your trigger.

No doubt it is unlikely to happen. But it has no chance of happening unless he plays 40 games. The season is lost, so for him to play four or five more games this year and keeping an AHL'er that should be playing in Rochester in order to expose Nic to the draft is understandable.
