Short listen on GR this morning. In order for a player to be eligible for the expansion draft they need to have played 40 games during the 16-17 season. Nic Deslauries has 39 games in. Look to see him at least one more game this season, and it is quite possible the reason he is here over some in Rochester.

I believe this also. I also believe the game has changed enough that the John Scotts of the NHL are gone. That's to say a 4-5 minutes a game of protection services only type player are things of the past. Need to roll 4 productive lines just to get a team good enough to make the playoffs.

I have been working with the same accountant now for 6 years. We have finally gotten me trained to have all my/partnership stuff together by the end of February so that by mid March I'm done. There is some luck with timeliness of W-9's involved and the actually mailing of quarterly payments, but life is good. Our family corporation's fiscal year end is Friday. We get on that right away with an extension to file come the end of April. :lol:

It appears Dan never *had* the locker room, and now as a last ditch effort he is trying to assume some control in a way that even Lindy era coaches thought where detrimental to the team. Then our coach failed miserably on your second part. If that is true, and a code that players live by, than Dan needed to something that wasn't so stupid.

I was never on the opposing side of one of his condescending posts to another poster, so I have no ill feelings toward's him. I did enjoy his posts when he wrote of hockey, and would love his take on Dan right now. With that said.... Those that he upset greatly should be the ones that decide. If they mutually agree that there are no hard feelings, I think we would all be better for it.
