    My understanding is that the Otters pay for the Erie Insurance Arena, everything else (the basket ball and arena football team) are gravy. No future owner will pay that lease, bankruptcy is the only way to renegotiate the lease, all rumor, all from local gin mills. You want to buy me a drink I will listen ...... it's a win, win!

    You and Mrs. Racer like that Sweater. She got one like it for our niece. Mrs. Racer has no idea about " turd burger", neither does our 2 year old niece, they both LOVE it. I think they are both beautiful, no matter what they wear..... But I personally would not wear one, but I am a ornerier old man that loves' me a US born generational hockey player that should never be seen in that sweater.. just sayin in the nicest possible way...

    That's good right? This is the Carrion thread, where everything is backwards and some think it's a fantasy league. You're giving high praises, right? Just joking....? Or are you hinting that mentally unstable people have gathered to talk about the insane sports logic of losing on purpose in order to be better some time in the future (maybe), and when it gets a little dicey telling us we are losing it, yes? We are all just fine, peachy, with happy bunnies. Do people that post angry bunnies in any way come off as being even slightly mentally unbalanced? I didn't think so either...

    To your first point, being able to skate the puck into the offensive zone would be common, not uncommon as it is now (NHL is a dump and chase league). It would also leave the middle open if the defense is on the perimeters, leaving lots of dumps and blind passes to the middle with the trailing player getting chances, I would think that would create more scoring, yes? Have not watched Finnish, could be a mix of rink size and calling obstruction type penalties?

    There are rumors of the lease being involved. The arena that they play in is nice, but I believe that the lease $'s is a lot more than can be justified. The rumor is that there where many potential buyers, till they read the lease.

    I started thinking about it, and it's hard for me to remember, because it's been a long time ago. Even Leino is two years removed, still getting paid, but long gone. I thought the Polish side of me was able to hold a grudge with the best of them, but I'm easy going I guess. I say we let Timmy get on with his life.

    Nolan said in post game a "sports hernia" and not sure status. But surgery for sports hernia is not a quick fix. Best of luck Mike Weber, and God speed in your recovery.
