That's Wonderful! Congratulations!

You are human, with very human traits. Humor, doubts, a busy schedule... hope they are not sins, cause we're going to meet at the same gate and it won't be someone named Peter that will be greeting us if they are. Hope you and yours have a Great Easter! ---------- NS, I believe my response to you is..... Alaikum Salaam as a Catholic if your offer me a greeting of Peace Be With You, I will respond with.. And With Your Spirit I believe you may find an interest as to why so I will share this... http://blog.adw.org/2010/05/and-with-your-spirit-its-not-what-you-think/ Again NS, thank you, and Peace to you and to all.

Lottery to be made available for public viewing

But, it's not live. So it's just as real as any other "reality show". -
Well, one for sure. It's a long story for another thread, but your vocabulary and it's use is appreciated.

nfreeman, There is one part you are missing, no way does any team not Montreal, Rangers , Red Wings, maybe now LA and Chicago attract those players. When they get a choice, they want to play for the big hockey markets with long standing traditions of winning, and, they want that team to be a winner before they get there. They want to be "the" player that puts that team in position to win cups now. The other 24-ish teams have no chance, until the players are to old to be that good, where they are just cashing in on their names.

Turkey Vultures often times called Turkey Buzzards Disgusting but necessary creatures that they are, they are also a big sign around my house that spring is finally upon us. Many look to the robin as the first sign of spring, but those dumb bastards have been here since the end of February, they are about as useful as the ground hog for predicting spring. But yesterday there where at least a half dozen buzzards lazily circling on the air currents around our homestead. First time they've been around since late October. So today is an awesome day because I have official been notified that spring is here!

You're right, no GM gives up a player that a team builds around. The only way you acquire them is by getting them through the draft. You need to be bad for 2-3 years, not only bad, but the worst in the league to get the players it takes to be the glue of a franchise that will be constantly in the playoffs.

Thanks for sharing VBoE. We're heading up Friday, so I think we may just do a quick stroll around the falls just to see the lights. We will miss the all blue, but I'm sure it will still be a wonderful sight to see.

Pysyk collapsed during pick up Basketball game

Ok, had to google to see the differences in your opinions. The Glove is leaning towards a bacterial infection and weave is assuming a viral infection. Even then I thought, what difference does that make, virus vs bacteria? Give the kid some drugs and lets get him healthy already. So I googled. Now I understand how hard it is to nail down his problem. The range of symptoms, causes and cures is amazing. He most likely is going through a lot of different testing to try and find out what he has. Blood, urine, stool, saliva, could all be part of a battery of tests. God bless Mark, hope they discover your problem and can get you on a path to being healthy! -
Once again one of Mom's little saying's apply, never kiss and tell about it.

Well if this isn't the happiest place on earth. We have Anna posting of times with a sociopath and the brutal murderer of his own people that would make Hitler look like a Boy Scout. While the rest of us are trying to determine if Dalphe is a Leaf in a Sabres sweater. I'm going to the Carrion thread, they are weird but a happy bunch.

Because losing is winning the McEichel lottery. How ironic is it that the loudest cheer on fan appreciation day could be for losing and the Sabres "holding" on to last. But if they win the Sabres could drop from the 30th spot and fans wind up booing.
