Dahlin all day for me. He is more dynamic offensively and drives possession. Seider’s advantages are RHD, bigger and more aggressive than Dahlin. He doesn’t seem to drive play and he isn’t an offensive weapon if Gosthibere took his PP1 minutes.

My two cents on this game. It was a dominant effort, the speed, the puck possession and the sense of urgency was just too much for the Isles. UPL was not tested too much but he made some key saves and a shutout is a nice reward. Confidence is a hell of a PED. Greenway, Cozens and Benson have all stepped up their games, getting key goals and being excellent on the PK. Greenway was a beast, shielding the puck, screening Sorokin and banging bodies to keep possession. Lucky that Tuch’s brain farts didn’t cost them. I’ve always liked Byram and even more now that I can see him more often and in B&G. I believed Dahlin needed a stay at home partner but this might work. Breakout artists, possession demons and riverboat gamblers. The other team doesn’t know what will happen next. Once they get more familiar with each other watch out. Power seems to finding his game. Peterka just backs teams up with his zone entry speed. I miss Quinn. Keep this going, it’s entertaining and so much more fun when winning.

I’ve watched Parekh live and I didn’t like his overall vibe. I found him to be cocky and always wanting the puck. I feel he is like Brandt Clarke, all offense with some background issues.

Exactly. I’m not looking to completely revamp the lineup. Get a 3-4 C. A backup goalie. A gritty winger or two. He can do it his way but it is his a** on the line if they fail again.

Something I was unaware of, teams can still trade players, but those players are ineligible for the playoffs. Habs and Devils made a trade today of minor leaguers. KA could get the jump on the off season and get a 3-4C from another non playoff team.

At this point it’s all we’ve got. Most of us are realistic about the impossible odds but while other teams are s******g the bed there is a chance. I am watching regardless so it feels better when the game is “meaningful”.

When I hear KA thinking of getting a veteran 4C I envision a Riley Sheahan type of move. He needs to get a 3C who Krebs competes with for the role.

I could see that possibly happening but it would be the weirdest D corps in the league with two LHD pairings and a RHD pairing. That’s kind of how they slot right now talent wise. Power and Mule could be a solid shutdown pair if they could find some chemistry.

Probably no discount on UPL but Ullmark was a UFA. UPL doesn’t’t get the standard 7x7M but a 3 or 4 year deal seems reasonable. If Joker is moved he may get a little miffed though.

I hate to admit it because he was my whipping boy, but he has been good. He can stay as a 7.
