Is this for sure?

Very well said, and thought out. I would agree that the difference between Laine and Puljujarvi is really subtext on what you prefer/need/want. Laine has the better shot, and more of a power forward role. Puljujarvi has the skating that just draws you in. His hands are very very sound. If I'm looking at #4, I would take Tkachuk over Nylander, but it's only with a sparse difference. I also would look at Chychrun, Sergachev, and Juolevi at #4 very hard based on determining factors for the scouting/front office. Either way the Sabres will draft someone who helps fill a need and picks the stagnancy of the offense up. Totally forgot Dubois in my #4 analysis. Good call!

I'm good with having Fasching take his place if he exceeds in the AHL during a stint. Not that McGinn is a bad player, but we've seen what can happen going down the re-sign phase. Matty Ice, is a quality human being, but his skating is just starting to fall off a cliff. Maybe it's the playing time, the inability to stick with set line mates, but he looks lost half the time. He's not a 4th line forward for sure, he's too skilled for that. All I'm intimating is that a William Carrier or Fasching could easily come in. Carrier has been stellar in recent weeks/months.

+1. Let him grow in and create the biggest draw for American hockey! Go SABRES!
-
It is really a good thing to see both McGinn and Weber in good winning situations. With their 10th straight win Anaheim tied LA for first in the Pacific. Crazy what 2 months can do for a team. Crazzzzzzzzzzzy!

Foligno's goal was a thing of beauty. Great to see Eichel get one from the post. It was a nice shot. Good win, even if it was against a fellow bottom feeder. GO SABRES!

I want him (Chychrun) if he can fall down to the mid first round. He has the tools to be dynamic. Agree with Tkachuk, Sergachev, Dubois and Nylander over him right now.

Reinhart was the best player as a skater on the ice for us. However, let me tell you Lehner was amazing last night. I think he's starting to shred up the 1st for Lehner dispute so many fans had, including myself. Eichel played well as well. McDavid.

Spot on TBG, he skates well and would be a perfect fit if we were to fall 5-7.
-
That's fine, if it becomes a 2nd, this goes down exactly what we expected. I feel bad for Johnson, but oh well.
-
I'm good with trading McGinn, he's not worth 4M, for that sake he's not worth what Beleskey signed for. He's a 3-3.5M cap hit tops.
-
Now we'll see the crappy return.
-
When did they start? Heh.
-
We're going to have the Stewart move's after 3:00PM.
-
Can do a lot worse than Pirri for a 6th. Nice trade for Anaheim. That sucks!
-
Trade Bogosian and Gorges for that type of return.
-
Jesus. That's way too much for a rental. Russell is an above average defensemen, but that's borderline larceny.
-
They have quite a few younger forwards in their top six. He's a better suited third line center. He could be a top six for sure.
-
Great move for Arizona getting Bleackley. Someone who can help out their bottom six group.
-
He was sent down to Erie to qualify for the playoffs. May be back up as soon as their next game.
-
Sorry, but you're talking about an in-season trade with a playoff team, for an unrestricted free agent on pace for 75 or so points. Not to mention an in-division rival to a bottom feeder. 0.0000000000000% chance that happens. Buffalo selling not adding. Eriksson is a heck of a player, who you can overpay in the offseason. However, even then that seems unlikely.
